This was our first time ordering food from The Chef Of India, and it won't be our last. We we tempted by the specials and we added extra dishes to make a meal into a tasty feast. The curries had a great depth of flavour and balance of spices. It was also nice to see beef on the menu. Everything was perfect except we thought the butter chicken was a little too sweet and the naan bread was on the thin side. That aside, the food was delicious. A special thanks to the chef for the bonus rice pudding, which was a free gift to celebrate Diwali.

The curries are definitely their strong suit here at The Chef of India. Their lamb korma and beef vindaloo were stand outs, with lots of flavour, spice and tender meat. The butter chicken was quite disappointing though, as it's so incredibly sweet. I hope they'll revise their recipe as it just doesn't hit the mark. The naan is super thin and a bit tough, definitely not nice and fluffy. The paneer pakora had no filling sandwiched in between the paneer, so it was bland and quite dry. The samosas were nice enough, not spicy and full of potato and spices. Overall, not a bad experience, but a few things could use some improvement. Thank you!

Wow what a food, awesome presentation, we ordered Tawa Chicken and Kadhai Paneer. Perfect blend of spices and food was very nice to eat.

This place has some great deals, would have loved to make it my local Indian. However, I had a saagwala from here last night and chicken tasted a bit off, I had two spoonfuls then stopped eating it but I’ve been violently ill since. Very sad and feels like such a shame because the staff were super nice and they also have great deals throughout the week. But it’s the only thing I ate yesterday besides coffee in the morning and a cookie so I’m pretty sure I got food poisoning from their food :(

Garlic naan was good. Butter chicken was smelly .. chicken tasted raw.vomited after having few bites. Never going back to this restaurant. Waste of money . Food sotting int the kitchen going in the bin

Excellent food, great service, and very pleasant owners. We are regulars at the restaurant. From dinning in to takeaways, the restaurant has never failed us. Admittedly, the ambiance needs a bit of make-over but otherwise can not fault the service. Highly recommended.

This has been our go to for some time. Sadly standard of food the last 2 times has been very disappointing. Last time the mild was far too hot to eat and tonight we ordered 2 butter chickens 1 mild one medium and a goat dish in medium. They were ALL very mild and no spice, all sauce with 5-6 pieces of chicken and the goat was all bone with stuff all meat. Sauces were also watery. Not sure if they may have a new chef or not but the standards have definitely changed and not for the better. We will be going elsewhere in the future. Sad really because they use to be great.
