The food quality has significantly decreased. The chunks of chicken in the curry were undercooked, which is really concerning for customers' safety. We used to order takeaway from this place and never had any issues before, but our recent experience left us disappointed. We hope this place can return to the high standards it once had.
I'm rather happy with the meal. *Butter chicken, it was the best I've had in Orewa so far. *Chilli Chicken was a standout for me the flavour was bang on. *Garlic Prawns were fantastic I just wished there was more..I'll definitely order those again. So overall my experience is a huge positive.
It annoys me when you go in to pay for your take outmeal and when you are talking to them about your order they suddenly make you wait while they answer the phone which takes precedent.
Very hard to find the locations Most bland of Indian food i ever eaten Asked for garlic Naan and I think the garlic must have run away 1 Heineken 0 11 dollars No disable access unless they have a lift as it is upstairs
Although we enjoyed the meal it was really pricey for a take away, especially when we didn't get any rice with the butter chicken. I have never in my life had to order rice extra with my curry. We ended up paying $114 for 4 butter chickens and naans and then still had to make our own rice at home. Or pay for rice! We will probably not back.
One evening we turned up there without reservation and were seated at a nice table on the deck. Service was attentive and we followed waitress's recommendation on the food to order. "Cheeky Chicken" curry is a must to try. All in all we were very impressed with the food, cocktails and service. Would definitely go there again.
Good food and service. We went on a winter Thursday and it was pretty quiet. Service was attentive and meals came hot and served in good time. Tasty dishes and fresh ingredients. Spinach and cheese naan was especially good. Also Three Sisters fish curry with scallops, fish and prawns. Yum. Good size servings. Will go again.
