   First time diners and we'll definitely be returning! Food was delicious, highly recommend the popcorn chili cauliflower, the lamb madras and the garlic naan was like no other. Service was wonderful, attentive, friendly and polite.

   Went here for dinner today and had a great experience! The owner was very welcoming and had great customer skills! As soon as I walked into the restaurant, the store had an amazing vibe from the lights to the music! Found it really easy to order the food, with it also coming at a really good time! Once I tasted the food though, I was so happy as it tasted delicious and it was also served at an amazing temperature! I would definitely recommend coming here as it is just such an amazing place! 10/10!

   The seating arrangement was simple but comfortable. We started with a jug of Kingfisher from the tap which came in a glass jug and was nice and cold (how it should be). For starters we had the Popcorn Chilli cauliflower and the Goan Fried Chicken. Both were very mouthwatering. Our mains were Goat Masala, Butter Chicken with Latcha Prantha’s. Absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend to all. Great service.

   New India restaurant near to Auckland CBD. Food is bland. Portion size is too small as compared to the prices they are charging. Chicken and paneer were both not fresh. Panner was hard not at all soft. Have given 2star just for the ambience and the courteous staff. Will never visit again.

   Tried it for the 1st time on Saturday 12.11.22 Such an amazing place. Great service, great ambience, very nice presentation and abouve all - super tasty food. Both my kids also loved the food. Definitely going there again.

   Nice place with excellent ambience. Cocktails were spot on must try Espresso Martini and Oasis in the thar. In starter snowflake chicken was delicious and must try one. The second starter “Grilled paneer” was not that up to the mark. (Improvement required) In the mains Kadai paneer & Vegetable Jalfrazi were superb with unique richness in test and texture. The way they served the roti was very new and unique. The place really lived up to our expectations. Must visit place

   We visited Mr. Spicer for our Anniversary Celebration. However we were disappointed big time :( The one star is only for the lovely restaurant interior. The chicken tikka tacos and the kebab platter was very bland and lacked flavour. The salads provided along with the dish did not have any dressing on them. The goan chicken was alright in flavour but was very dry :( The curries we ordered were lamb rogan josh and bhuna chicken. Both the curries were very sweet looks like there was sugar added in it. And to top it all the Biryani we ordered was an utter disaster! No flavour at all- just rice with a lot of colour on it and very bland chicken. The desserts were alright but we were so disappointed by the entree and the mains that we did not enjoy it. We did voice out our disappointment regarding the food lacking the basic Indian flavours to the restaurant owner, however I don’t think that was positively taken. We specifically requested him before ordering that we would like the food to have authentic flavours. We were told that they had to alter the flavour of the dishes as per the clientele and looks like they completely forgot our brief. Well, I hope he realises that we are his clients too…. and unfortunately, the food did not hit the mark :( If you are looking for authentic Indian flavours, this is definitely not a place to go.
