The food was so bad I had a couple of bites, felt like throwing up, felt embarrassed, paid, quickly left and walked to a Sri Lankan place down the road. I ordered a masala cha at Satya (it was average) and a paneer dosa. It was the worst dosa Iβve ever had in my life (my ethnicity is Indian so Iβve had many dosas). After checking the other 1 star reviews here I noticed itβs mainly other Indian people complaining because we know what real South Indian food is. The paneer was cooked in a sweet chilli sauce of some type and mixed in with raw cabbage/coleslaw salad and onions. The condiments were fine except for the red one which also tasted like a sweet chill sauce. I was starving but the food was so bad I couldnβt even force myself to eat another bite. I wish I had the guts to tell the staff how terrible the food was but they will probably figure it out once they see I didnβt eat anything on the plate. Wonβt come back unfortunately and do not recommend.

Weβve been here plenty of time and this place never fails! Nice and cosy and relaxing vibes. The food are outstanding (really traditional and flavourful) especially if you like the heat of curries so good! Our fave is chicken 65, prawns, lamb curry and Dani Puri (very addictive). Price wise and serving portions great and fair. Will definitely be back again!

A solid Indian dining experience. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. The curry, while tasty, was a little on the sweet side for my preference. Be prepared for a slow cooking time, but the price is reasonable for the quality. We visited in the evening when it was quite busy, and the vibe is good, though the lighting is a bit dark. Overall, worth a visit if you're not in a rush.

This place has great food, but it's a hole in the wall, almost literally. It opened at noon and you have to go down this long hallway with bottles hanging. You sit on rickety wooden crates, there are 3 different rooms or sections. See if you can get the one in the back it's very laid back. We tried almost Eveything, I'd say you have a hard time finding something that you don't enjoy. Try the thumbs up if you're looking for Pepsi or coke.

We had tea and it was refreshing and nostalgic for my Indian taste buds but it cost $7 per cup which is on the higher side of the cost spectrum.

A magical and fun setting with incredible food and of course spiced chai β Entrance is a tiny doorway leading to a hallway filled with overhanging bottles. Toilet onsite plus a restaurantsink to wash hands after a meal, and seating is benches at narrow tables.

Food, service and ambience - A+ Didnβt quite like the seating arrangements. Starters and mains were delivered at the same Time and there were not enough space on the tiny table to fit 4 basic items. The chair felt uncomfortable too. Best dish - chicken 65 and chicken fried rice.
