“We heard about K9 Heaven through the council when we rescued a dog from the Henderson Pound which we ended up taking to K9 Heaven and since then we’ve taken all our dogs there. Doggydan recommended K9 Heaven as well. Our dog Loki that was found on the southern motorway in Auckland at 12 weeks absolutely loved K9 Heaven and so did his companion our little staffi. They are brilliant with the dogs. The staff are wonderful, I know my dogs enjoyed it there because they didn’t want to come back out. I highly recommend anyone to take their dogs to K9 Heaven. I haven’t come across another daycare like it when they get to go on a pack run and play in the mud in the creek and have a shower and come home smelling nice thank you everyone for the brilliant Service .”

“We absolutely love this place! We were worried at first as our pup wasn’t very social, but this place has totally transformed him. He’s more confident, social and loves playing with the other dogs. I love the fact that we keep getting updates and photos/videos throughout the day. We truely feel that they care and love our pup! He is always excited to go there and is happy and exhausted once back! Will definitely recommend!”

“Piha Beachstay was such a beautiful surprise. The location is perfection, you can walk to the beach, hikes, waterfalls, and into town to grab a coffee. The shared space and rooms were incredibly clean. The hostel was very quiet for us so if you are looking for a peaceful stay this is the place. Absolutely stunning location and if the weather is good you are in for a treat!”

“It is the little things....what a gorgeous place to stay. Tracy was super friendly and so accommodating. We mixed up our times and she was happy to help. The room was very comfortable and morning tea and coffee just outside our room was perfect. Breakfast downstairs with a beautiful view. We could not have asked for more. “Husband and I had such a great week long stay here. Sandy and Glen were great hosts sharing with us their personal recommendations and answering all our questions regarding NZ. Our room had a wonderful view of Little Manly Beach. The hotel is conveniently located for a quick walk to town for great meals and/or a relaxing swim at Big Manly Beach. Our room was equipped for preparing simple meals. We could enjoy dining in our room at the large table or on the verandah outside our room overlooking the beach. Absolutely beautiful. Sandy and Glen do offer an extra breakfast option. Glen is mighty talented with those poached eggs. Enjoy.”

“Our stay at the Delamore Lodge was fantastic! The lodge is unique and comfortable, with an incredible view. We loved waking up in the morning to the ocean view from our room and hiking down to the nearby bay. The service is phenomenal, very friendly and attentive staff. The food is 10/10-so fresh and we enjoyed trying the local foods! Wonderful breakfast by the fire each morning, evening appetizers, and the “Trust the Chef” dinner we had as fantastic. If you are looking for a charming lodge and great cuisine, the delamore is the place for you!”

“Purrfurred Cattery is second to none! Sally and the team do an excellent job of making fur babies feel happy, loved and cared for away from home. We have two adventurous and rather large and demanding Siamese boys. They are always cared for and accommodated in a way that works for them. Thank you so much for the level of kindness, patience and care offered. We appreciate all the Purrfurred team do! Facilities are large, varied and clean. The cat minders are conscientious and considerate of each cat’s needs. Our boys return home settled and happy. A very special place that we are thankful to have established a relationship with.”

“The venue is stunning, offering amazing food and wine in a typical French atmosphere. Relax in various spots, from fine dining with ocean and scenic views to casual lounging under the trees. The very nice garden, filled with lots of lavender, adds to the charm.”

“A gem to work with . We had a wonderful experience with Lucille and Debbie, they were patient whilst we had a hard situation to deal with as well as not the easiest property to sell. Whilst similar properties had been on the market over a year, she managed to get us a realistic price that we were happy with in just a few months. Lucille was there rain or shine showing off the property, they helped us stage and she would even wipe down counters or surfaces we missed. She has great attention to deal and has a heart of gold. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her anyone.”

“The management and staff of Stay at Mission Bay are very professional and respond immediately to issues and/or requests. The rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable. All creature comforts have been considered by the hosts and it makes a significant difference to your stay. Free on-site parking is available but the location is very close to lovely Mission Bay beach and restaurants etc that you don't need a car as you can walk, and just a further few minutes walk along the esplanade, you can reach Kohi Beach and St Heliers Bay. Public transport is just across the road to all places of interest including the aquarium, museums, the CBD and more. Our stay was fantastic and the accommodation is well worth the money spent and certainly as good or better quality than a 4-star hotel. I highly recommended Stay at Mission Bay due to its location, exceptional hosts and management and will definitely return on my next visit.”

“We have been so impressed with Kumeu Kennels. Even though Kumeu Kennels is a bit far from us, it is absolutely worth the distance. The regular photo updates on Instagram really show how much the staff care for all the dogs and its so reassuring to see Zippy looking happy and relaxed interacting with everyone. “The best cattery we’ve found. Ended up using Club Meow over any of the catteries closer to us as it’s the only one our cat is happy at when we come to collect her. Have left our cat here for 3 months at one point and she was so well looked after. Staff are very knowledgeable and get to know your cat and their needs. Couldn’t recommend more!”

Even a hair dryer. You could help yourself to tea, coffee, and for a small fee beer, wine. Cookies to go with your cuppa. Mr Darcy added a special touch. The guests lounge was a very relaxing space. “Poco absolutely loved her stay at Pets At Whitford Spa & Stay! After a bad experience at another kennel (where she returned after 4 nights with bloody stool, coughing, and lethargy), I was very anxious about this stay. However, from the moment we were greeted by the staff, I felt reassured by the professionalism and warmth of the team. They have well-trained staff, experienced dog handlers, and a smooth, well-managed system. During her stay, I could see daily photos of her on Facebook, which was such a comfort! When I picked her up after 4 nights, I could tell she had a great time. Most importantly, her diet, bowel movements, and overall energy were completely normal when she returned home! I highly recommend Pets At Whitford Spa & Stay! Thank you so much, and we’ll be back!”

“We have just returned from our romantic "mini break" on Waiheke. Studio 1 was a room with WOW factor from the view and privacy of the room to the luxurious linen on the bed! The Nespresso, bathroom products, cleaning products, interior touches and design with feather filled cushions were thoughtful and a welcomed change from the regular "Hotel products" that seem a little "chain storish" at times. The lockbox and other security features were a perfect touch. The local Waiheke wine is exactly what you want on offer when you travel to an island so rich in the winery experience so well done! The craft beer was a particularly satisfying drop and we could easily have had 2 more each. The walk to Mudbrick was indeed short as was the walk to the Oneroa retail, restaurants and the local art. Your location is truly convenient which only added to the overall exceptional experience of packing in as much as possible in this "mini break". The communication from Jan was efficient and we thank you for allowing us to keep our bags in the storage facility while we took advantage of tiki touring our way through the sights. Constructively: (this did not affect our stay in any way) Our TV was stuck on "loud" and for the life of me I couldn't work out how to turn it down so that may have been annoying for Unit No 2. The beer really was sublime, another 2-4 would have been perfection. For avid coffee drinkers who take milk, perhaps 500ml of milk would last better given Nespresso is made with a milk frother) I am sure you get asked all the time for a late checkout as the room is so amazing but that too could be a plus sometimes although I do understand the need for an efficient cleaning schedule. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to experience "authentic sophisticated service" and hope to get back sometime soon. PS Loved the complimentary Whittakers Chocolates!!”

“By far one of the best places I have stayed in years. travelling for work a lot, I get to stay at a lot of places and never really feel the need to leave a review one way or the other, but this place is worth a mention. From the first encounter with staff to the last, the experience is friendly and efficient, the room I stayed in was very spacious, extremely well appointed and super clean. Stayed in the middle of winter so noticed the double glazing and individual heat pumps in each room immediately as the apartment was cosy and warm throughout. Vehicles are securely parked underground with easy access to elevators and ample parking. There is a high level of security with elevators requiring room tags to access the correct floor adding additional comfort to lone travellers or people leaving and returning at odd hours. Finally - as an added benefit - you open the doors to the balcony and realise that there is small stream right behind the apartments that you can hear all the time. (Bit too cold during my stay to leave the balcony doors open over night, but in summer this must be the most tranquil experience ever) - I have advised my company, our corporate travel agency and my co-workers that this is by far the most outstanding property I have stayed in for a while and when in the neighbourhood, staying here is an absolute must.”
