   We stumbled upon Pets in the City Wairau with our one year old Labrador but man did we win with this one. From day one they had been Bears second family. Once a week he comes in to rave with his friends and staff who absolutely dote on him. He plays, he hangs and when he needs it gets his nails done. If we need a longer stay the dog hotel is perfect. Always available, easy to book and he comes home exhausted in the best kind of way. All of us are the biggest fans of Pets in the City Wairau!

   Amazing staff who seem to genuinely care about our boy Murphy. He enjoys both daycare and hotel stays and is always so happy (but exhausted!) when we pick him up. Murphy has attended daycare regularly since he was a puppy and we can see the benefits as he has become a very social and playful dog. He also recently completed an in-house recall training program with Laura which he absolutely loved!

   The team are always cheerful and positive when we arrive. Both daycare and overnight stays are enjoyed by my dog. She is always tired and ready for a restful sleep after playing with her doggy friends all day. I love the social skills it's teaching her as well as the exercise she gets.

   These guys are amazing my 2 rescues come weekly and always stay when we need to go away, the staff are amazing with them and so accommodating they look after them so well, my dogs get so excited to see the staff and that’s when you know they are looking after and making your dogs happy, I would highly recommend.

   Our pups stayed at the Doggy Hotel for a 1 Month & 10 days. They were well looked after - we loved seeing pictures of them everyday on the Facebook page! So happy that they were so well looked after! 100% will book them in again for our next trip!

   Wairau Park Our puppy Polar Bear loved being here when we went away for a week. He had an upset stomach while in there, and they took him to the vet and took great care of him. I would have preferred if they'd called to tell us, but the vet had no concerns, so in some ways, it was probably a good thing we didn't know as we were out of the country. I'm feeling so much better about going away next time, knowing he's in great hands. Fantastic staff and a great variety of activities. Highly recommend!!
