“I went to countdown ponsonby deli and I must say I had an amazing experience. Well done Lucky, for serving your customers so well!! I asked for a special request for the sandwich and he was very kind and patient with how I wanted my food, he was working alone in deli, shame on the management for making the poor guy work all alone in deli, having to handle the kitchen but also the customers, well done lucky keep it up! Enjoyed my food a lot❣️”

“Nice store layout for a small store. Have a decent sized beer chiller and have the majority of brands available. I liked this shop so much because they have the small Jack Daniels collection packs which some bigger shops didn’t even have. Shop is located next to butchers, roast shop, pizza, cheesecake shop and fruit and veges which makes it very convenient.”

“I love popping in to the Countdown after work. So convenient, well stocked with all our grocery needs. I have 3 sons living at home and my hubby so I'm always topping up on meat here. The meat is pretty affordable. We grab a big bag of sausages that splits into 2 meals for us. Chicken tenders, fish, chicken nuggets and chips, burgers, pizza, dumplings, spaghetti bolognaise or lasagna are all on our menu and easily available here.”

“Nice modern Countown store with clean and well maintained facilities. Easy access from two roads to the large carpark. Do note that shopping bags are no longer provided so bring your own or purchase the ecobags instore for future reuse. The store has a wide selection of everyday necessities along with the liquor, fresh fruit, deli etc. Staff were helpful and polite. Self service is provided but Card Only.”
