   Terrible service the last two times I have been. It’s been a while and used to be fine. The man that served me was disinterested and just paid attention to his colleagues that were having a personal chat. I asked four times for a paper bag. No smile. No hello. Got the same service the previous time. I will avoid this supermarket. Your service is atrocious

   I went to countdown ponsonby deli and I must say I had an amazing experience. Well done Lucky, for serving your customers so well!! I asked for a special request for the sandwich and he was very kind and patient with how I wanted my food, he was working alone in deli, shame on the management for making the poor guy work all alone in deli, having to handle the kitchen but also the customers, well done lucky keep it up! Enjoyed my food a lot❣️

   The only countdown I know that doesn’t do free fruit for kids which is the only way I can shop in peace. seems strange seeing as though we are in one of the richest areas in Auckland?

   This is a nice Countdown in Ponsby that's a bit on the smaller side. It does have a large selection of wines if you're looking for something to go with dinner. The lighting is nice in the produce section but the prices are pretty spendy for fruit and veg. They do have an assortment of gluten free items, which I appreciate as a Coeliac. The drugstore branded makeup is incredibly pricey. As an American, I'd never wear makeup again if I had to pay these prices for what is considered the cheapest brand makeup in the US. We did paid street parking. If there was a lot somewhere, I didn't see it. Visited February 2023.

   Nice Countdown Supermarket at Ponsonby. They’ve got larger varieties and many more products there. At the entrance there were cleaning and sanitising products for the trolley thankfully. At other Countdowns too they do have the products but they’re either finished or there is no tissue available to wipe off the sanitizer (faced this issue at 2-3 other Countdowns). The floors and the other areas were clean. There were staff at the billing counters helping people out with putting their stuff in the bags to fasten the process.
