Roast and Twice cooked pork are always my favorite orders. Not a fan of fried chicken. BTW, sry Cruise, like your smile. Again, you can't make a judgment just by the review. “I visited here during a visit to Auckland when I wanted some connection with the Jewish community. They were lovely and welcoming, and when I was crushed to find out there were no bagels left, Sam specially found me their very last one and gave it to me free of charge. It made me so happy at a difficult time. The bagel was amazing! Plus the pickles, bagel chips, and matzo ball soup were all fantastic. For a perfect little slice of Jewish culture and delicious food, you can’t go wrong here. Cheers Sam!”

“The real thing! Davenport deli cafe is unpretentious but feels like an old Europe cafe. The coffee (latte in a glass) was exquisite and the blueberry cheese cake one of the best I've had - Vienna move over! The setting across from the art deco Devonia bldg with a choice of sidewalk or breezy inside seating adds to the experience. Head for the cafe as soon as you get off the ferry; a three minute walk. Oh I also picked up a frittata to take away - two kinds available: ham or veggie great value or try the quiche: spinach + feta or bacon and egg.”

“What a great café!! I came to brunch at 9 am during the week and it was pretty calm. I sat on the terrace overlooking the countryside and it was very pleasant. I tried the lamb omelet, which I highly recommend. It was excellent, cooked to perfection, and the portions are very generous! What's more, the staff are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The Sin in a bun fully deserves its reputation, you have got to try it!! I was full after the lamb omelette but it was definitely worth ordering a dessert.”

“We went there for breakfast as it was the only one opened at the time. The menu offers a lot of dishes cooked French style, which is quite different compared to the ordinary cafes. There are also jams, croissant and other baked goods for sale, both fresh and frozen. Very nice seating as well.”

“I can only say that the fettucine pasta that I ordered was one of the best tasting pasta that we’ve ever had. We got chicken breast and added mushrooms and the chicken breast was amazingly tender and flavoursome. It was a hit with the whole family. Delicious!”

Immediately accommodating to our toddler by bringing over a high chair. Food was VERY well priced as well as tasty and well presented, and coffee was excellent too. Really pleased with Go Deli and will surely be going back next time. One observation: you could receive so much more business with a better sandwhich board up on Constellation drive (and get council to cut that bush back as it blocks so much of your view) and a sign similar down by Bunnings. It's a busy area but most people overlook your business as it's tucked in a corner out of view!”

“Farro has the freshest and best quality veges, and at times it's cheaper than the supermarket. They stock many specialist products like duck and steamed buns..... The wine selection is very good, and I prefer their rose selection to supermarkets. The store has a farmers market, community feel. They offer fresh rolls, salads and coffee. I only buy deli meats from here as the quality is better than supermarket brands. Staff are friendly and helpful.”
