   A perfect farmhouse escape! ​The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. I loved the rustic, peaceful ambiance, it's the perfect place to unwind. ​The best part? After eating, you can take a lovely stroll around the grounds to see the cows, sheep, and other farm animals. It’s a fantastic experience for both kids and adults. Highly recommend for a weekend treat!

   This is the best cafe food by far I have ever had in my entire life. Starting with the Mocha, it was absolutely heavenly! I ordered it twice. We then were in a big group and we ordered The scramble inferno, Brisky Business and also lamb omelette. All of these dishes were not only big in size but absolutely delicious, especially the scramble inferno. The ricotta omelet is really liked by vegetarians. And finally one of the most divine desserts I have ever eaten in my entire life.. the Sin In a Bun. Again the portion was so big that 4 people could easily have a portion and that quarter portion was really big in size. The restaurant is around a farm and so its nice being close to nature. The service was great too. The hospitality and service of the manager Katie is always excellent! It took a while for the lunch to arrive given that the cafe was totally full but the wait was totally worth it. Absolute divine experience!

   My partner and I have read about Hill house cafe and their famous cinnamon rolls for years, but never tried them until today. First of all, our excitement started before we went, it started when we checked out the menu. It is not your stock standard breaky items, a lot of thought went to curating these dishes from what goes on the plate to the name of the dish. Peeps, it was an exciting read for a couple of foodies. When we got to Farm House Cafe, it was a beautiful sunny day, car park looked busy but there were still plenty of seating indoors and outdoors with shade from umbrellas and trees. If you sit under a tree, get an umbrella, I got nailed by some bird poo. But that didn’t dampen our spirits. We brought our stroller for our baby girl, and most of the area is wheelchair friendly. Staff were really friendly, asked our waitress on her opinion for cocktails and she suggested the strawberry secco, while my partner ordered a biscoff milkshake. The strawberry seco was oh so easy to drink (too easy), just the strawberry sorbet kept hitting my nose as I was swiggin’ my drink back. Took a fork and stirred that in. We ordered three dishes, birria patatas, pimp my scone with salmon and meatball shashuka. The food - all delicious, so flavourful, well seasoned, good portion sizes. Our only call out would be that the birria has a bit of heat to it, and it builds the more you eat it. My partner and I love our spice but towards the end it was abit much even when we ordered a slice of sourdough to help cut through it, might have been better if we had some way to cool it off like a raita (ok not Mexican), or yoghurt or sour cream some thing to help with that heat. Also if you’re thinking about having it for breakfast, we felt it was abit much but the shashuka - perfect for breakfast. Have the birria for lunch definitely. The Sin-in-a-roll, honestly the best damn cinnamon roll I’ve eaten - the dough soooo soft and spongy. The cream cheese tangy, light and not tooo sweet. The cinnamon roll isn’t overly sweet, but it hits that sweet spot just right. We only tried the original but they have other flavours like biscoff, strawberry and mango+coconut. Overall, we loved it here so much we’ve dubbed it our favourite place for breakfast in South Auckland. We were thinking about the family events we want to hold out here in the future because it’s a really cool spot, there’s a small playground with swing for the kids, a grassy area for them to play, there’s a doggy walk path, beautiful scenery. Well done team, you did real good ❤️

   What a great café!! I came to brunch at 9 am during the week and it was pretty calm. I sat on the terrace overlooking the countryside and it was very pleasant. I tried the lamb omelet, which I highly recommend. It was excellent, cooked to perfection, and the portions are very generous! What's more, the staff are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The Sin in a bun fully deserves its reputation, you have got to try it!! I was full after the lamb omelette but it was definitely worth ordering a dessert.

   What a lovely spot in the country. Beautiful cafe and gardens. It was not the day to explore but there are walking tracks that run past. We had lovely coffees and pumpkin soup. The soup was thick and hearty with a little something we couldn't distinguish but was delicious with sour dough. I look forward to another visit on a sunny day I'm sure it's spectacular.

   I didn't know there was such a beautiful place not far from my place. It is a gem. I used to go to the Clevedon Oyster farm and stopped by The Corner Bar in Clevedon. The place is spacious and I love the patio with good sunlight. The vegetable garden is run by itself, so the food is fresh and healthy. These days, I think they're constructing something space next to the backyard. My fav food is pesto avo pickled egg on toast, but I'm sad that it's no longer on the menu. When does the toast come back?

   The Farm House is nicely pointed on the way to the coast. Nice selection of glass cabinet eats and treats however nothing today for the GF eaters unfortunately. There’s a small set of shelves with-in with various goods and a tall fridge with jars of yum’s and drinks ! Great place to chill and to sip away and plenty of possibilities when seating yourself. Recommend you give it a go.

   What a beautiful cafe! I arrived around 11:00am and was immediately in awe of the sweeping views and cozy colonial style home where the cafe is located. As I walked in I was greeted by the kind staff who were all so welcoming. Rachel, the sweet individual at the counter, was very knowledgeable and informative after learning I was visiting from California. I ended up ordering a slice of lemon yogurt cake, a mocha, and a seasonal salad with quinoa and edamame. The lemon yogurt cake was divine! I had it with a small side of yogurt which is a must when ordering this. I thoroughly enjoyed my mocha and salad as well! After sitting outside and taking in the views, I saw that there was a walking path from the cafe leading into the farmlands. I decided to walk the entirety of the path that consists of two loops. What a peaceful slice of paradise that is the Farm House Deli. I was greeted by adorable live stock and horses as I walked the paths. I met a kind gentleman who worked at the deli I believe the name was Reagan? and his sweet dog Bessie! (What an adorable name). After I enjoyed my walk I made my way back to the deli and ordered a lavender latter and lavender shortbread cookie to go! The lavender latte is to die for if you LOVE lavender like I do! I hope to be back in my next travels!
