   Haven’t been in a while (since having a second baby). I was a regular and have been making do with a New World for a bit. Well, big reminder today to start going back to Farro. So much more inspiring and prices were actually better on most of the produce (and twice the size and freshness!). I was feeling so ‘over it’ in the kitchen. Thanks for raising the bar Farro. Will try to get in more often before I shop the usual ‘du-ops’ for nappies and cat food etc.

   Decent selection but unfriendly and somewhat unknowledgeable staff. Also, the checkout person prioritised drinking her drink and standing around instead of helping me bag my groceries as I was paying. Lazy efforts.

   Staff cold, unfriendly. Went all the way to get the in season truffle butter, first staff was unhelpful, asked where I could find them, no clue, asked her colleague, still no idea, told me no fresh truffle butter in store. I said I received the email and also called to confirm before I came. When I found what I was looking for, no apology from this staff, walked away with a shrug off the shoulder reponse: well it's a new product. Jesus christ, this is not what I was expecting from Farro. Whatever this staff is going through in her life, I will not judge or comment, front line staff is the face of your business brand. I also get amazing experience in Epsom and Mt eden stores. Grey Lynn branch is a disapointment.

   Farro is definitely establish as high class supermarket. When you enter into the shop, the fruits and vegetables look absolute A grade. Well and neatly display. I went in to sample some ready made cooked foods. Fish smoke pie is my favourite. Love to shop there.

   Farro has the freshest and best quality veges, and at times it's cheaper than the supermarket. They stock many specialist products like duck and steamed buns..... The wine selection is very good, and I prefer their rose selection to supermarkets. The store has a farmers market, community feel. They offer fresh rolls, salads and coffee. I only buy deli meats from here as the quality is better than supermarket brands. Staff are friendly and helpful.
