“The food was served hot, and we ordered the Hungry Bowl and Chicken Karaage Burger from their menu. Absolutely loved the food! I highly recommend anyone visiting Mission Bay Beach to stop by this café for a bite. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.”
“Lovely cafe inside the botanical centre - a great place for a coffee surrounded by plants. I was very happy to discover that they have vegan milk options - soy, almond, and coconut milk for $1 extra, making my soy flat white $6.50. Good coffee and good atmosphere. They have a toilet on site as well. They have very limited vegan food options with only one on the menu that I could see. Would be great if they could expand their vegan offering.”
“Came here for a quick breakfast before browsing the mall. Ordered a french toast and a mocha which both didn't disappoint. The french toast tasted very fresh, flavourful and delicious while the mocha was great. The atmosphere was very welcoming as the worker at the front provided amazing customer service.”
“Fast easy ordering Food looked and tasted delicious Burgers huge Love the waffle fries, Playground was perfect for our 4yr old to keep busy for ages.”
“Looking for a breakfast place around takapuna after a pedia visit and tried Leaf & Loaf. Overall experience is excellent and lively, friendly staff. My fussy little one loved the blueberry pancakes. The rest of the food are awesome. Though I prefer boiling hot coffee but with the weather, it's acceptable food gets a little cold quicker. Highly recommend this place.”
“There was a very empathetic barista who worked there. I was waiting outside the shop for my ride. They haven’t opened yet but she noticed me standing outside in the cold and kindly asked me to wait inside. I was so touched by her kindness that I just had to share! Bless her!”
“My husband and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary at our local The Block Cafe. We decided to dine alfresco as the weather was beautiful. The staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful and efficient. The food was amazing. I got the Pancakes with berry compote and a generous sized amount of cream. My husband got the big breakfast which had everything from bacon, eggs, hash brown baked beans etc.. The coffee was Devine! Very filling and good value for money. We'll definitely be back again soon.”
“Came on a very busy Sunday and were served pretty quick. Place was completely full of customers and yet our food was on our tables within 15 minutes. Opted for the Woolfy's Breakfast and the Bacon Eggs Benedict - both amazing with crispy bacon and perfectly poached eggs. Can see why this place is popular - would come back to try their cabinet food or other meals from their menu!”
“First time visiting here in a long time. It looked like there was only one gentleman working. It was rather busy at like 7am ish. But he greeted every customer. Thanked us for being patient. And made a great caramel flat white! A great example of multitasking and being great at his job!”
“Grade A!! Nice little water front spot and prices have increased from the last time we were there few months ago. Enjoyed our meal and coffee was delicious. Parking: you’ll be lucky to get one close by, took a while to find one and nearly gave up but found one just as we were about to drive off. Ordered Salmon Eggs Benedict $28.50 Bacon Eggs Benedict $27 Ice Coffee Frappe $8 Ice Chocolate Frappe $8 Mochaccino in a bowl $7.50 And soft drinks for $3”
“Highly recommended — and dog- and baby-approved! We had such a fantastic time at Fabrics in Hobsonville! A special shout-out to the incredible gentleman who seated us. His warm attitude and friendly accommodation set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable visit. The ambience is just stunning — stylish yet cozy, with a great vibe that makes you want to stay longer. We paid $84 for two dishes and two drinks but the experience, service, and setting really do justify it. If you're looking for somewhere to treat yourself or take visiting friends, Fabrics is definitely worth checking out.”
“Nice and cozy place to have morning coffee and breakfast Spinach and feta scones must try !!”
“I’ve had lunch a few times here recently (my apartment is a few hundred metres away). Both times the food has been good quality cafe-style fare, and prices are reasonable for the post-COVID environment. I like the place and food and expect to eat here two to three times a fortnight. Happy to recommend to locals, people visiting Central Park for business, and anyone else who doesn’t have small noisy offspring.”
“Great food, great service. There’s a coffee loyalty scheme so get your card stamped and leave it there so you don’t forget next time ;)”
“I had a lovely experience at Cornwell Park Cafe! The coffee was rich and smooth, brewed perfectly – just the right balance of strength and flavor to start the day. I also tried their avocado toast with bread, and it was fresh, vibrant, and satisfying. The avocado was creamy and well-seasoned, sitting on nicely toasted bread that had a great crunch. The presentation was simple yet inviting, and the overall vibe of the cafe was cozy and relaxed. A great spot to enjoy a quiet breakfast or catch up with a friend. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!”
“The molten chocolate was an absolute delight warm, rich, and perfectly paired with creamy vanilla ice cream. The fresh strawberries and pistachio crumbs added a lovely balance of flavour and texture. Having this dessert in the beautiful surroundings of Mission Bay made it even more enjoyable. A moment where good food and a beautiful place came together perfectly.”
“Below review written by a 14 year old that I mentor: Have you ever wanted to go to an American Diner? But you can't because you're in New Zealand? Well you're in luck! Bald Eagle Diner has the best food known to Mission Bay! With their cheesy burgers filled with flavour and their crunchy onion rings. The prices are great! And the drinks were phenomenal, their freak shake was my favorite!”
“Delicious meals and very good atmosphere! Highly recommended”
“Loved that we landed here today for lunch. Food was delicious, only wish we were more hungry, would have chosen off the menu. What we saw coming out of the kitchen was beautifully presented and lots on the plates. The young serving team were sooo confident and welcoming, such a joy to be among. Also to their credit my, actual up to date L&L magazines. Coming back again. Thank you.”
“Clean bakery, friendly staff and excellent coffee!!!”
“Its a food shop in a commercial/industrial area. if you are busy like they are its a good sign the food is good and well priced. update 5/4/24 still awesome.. why change a great thing update for google 16/7/24 same as above, taken quite a liking to their burgers, atm 7.50!! and rather filling.. VERY tasty.. but... have napkins handy... its going to get messy... (in an awesome and delicious way.. if other staff stare... grunt with satisfaction!!)”
“I love getting iced latte from here, they are so underrated. Very well priced if you compare to local cafes, iced coffee can be very expensive there”
“Friendly staff and great customer service. Nice cakes”
“Happy to serve and keep the kitchen open at 3pm. Technical closed. Good service!”
“A lovely venue with restroom. Coffee great, sandwich fresh. I did see another diner complaining about the pies but I am very happy here.”
“Amazing food and awesome coffee. Friendly people and great atmosphere. A real pleasure, and value for money. Thank you!”
“The most next level sandwich, perfect ratio of ingredients and flavour is always amazing. Could never make one this nice at home. Nice service too, for $6.90 it's worth every cent.”
