“Fabulous coffee and food! Highly recommend the filter coffee, check what’s on offer each day as it changes, I had a very nice single origin Ethiopian. Espresso also great. And, very tasty food, we had breakfast 3 days in a row and can recommend the granola, also had poached eggs and bacon with a house made rosti in place of bread to make it gluten free (gf bread also an option). Staff are super helpful and friendly :)”

“I always grab my matcha latte from here. It’s my little pre-workout ritual before heading to the gym! The staff here are amazing and always so friendly. One time I came in totally distracted and couldn’t remember my order (I always get the same thing), and the kind barista said, “almond milk matcha latte?”. Ever since then he just asks, “the usual?” and makes it perfect each time. It’s small gestures like that that make the experience so special. Great matcha, even better service!”
“Fantastic on so many levels. I tried their coffee once a while ago and enjoyed the friendly chat. I also admire how hard working these 2 Peas in a Pod are! Saving lives by the means of a warm cup of coffee at 5:00 AM is superb!”
“Great coffee and service - can't beat it!”
“Such a cute little cafe, all vegan. I got the mac n cheese burrito with gherkins and a custard creme doughnut, my partner got the jalapeno cheese rolls and a biscoff cookie- all were so so tasty and affordable. If we lived in Dunedin, we would be here every lunch break. Plus free coffee (with orders over $10) Server is also so lovely, would highly recommend”

“Love Beam Me Up, such a treat to have takeaway at the local gardens. The Darth Bacon has been my go-to for the last 3 trips, and I'm excited to go back for another taste soon. Perfect for a light lunch while exploring Dunedin.”

“A large portion with bargaining prize. Very tasty, very appetising. Gorgeous setting, cosy plants. And most importantly, AMAZING FOOD.”
“I found they made authentic desserts and visited again with my partner. I was stunned once more! The sandwich was massive and full of fresh ingredients. The salami, parsleys, ham, cheese, baby spinaches and handmade bread! The best ever! I couldn't even finish it over there and fetched it for dinner as well. When it comes to dessert, I've tried cardamom roll, pan au chocola, brown butter cookie, mascapone chocolate tart. None of them disappointed me. Every single thing was authentic. You can see different range whenever you visit then you can't be sick of their menu. Especially, brown butter cookies, it's fabulous when you have it a bit cool. The butter flavour is flooring at every bite and half the cookie is chocolate. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again”
“- Welcoming and patient staff. It was our first time and the lady waited until we made up our minds. - Halloumi cheese sandwich. It was fresh and the sauce on top wasn´t spicy whatsoever. Good option to share. - Granola bowl. Surprised me a lot because because it was a huge portion (of granola). However, it came with just a tiny cup of yougurt, some milk, banana and strawberry jam. In my opinion, the should add an extra portion of yogurt. - 1 restroom available. - Great atmosphere. Good place to read. - Outdor tables are available.”
