Stopped in for a bit of unexpected brunch with my daughter this morning and got the pancakes. Certainly a decent sized meal. Loved it and the coffee. Daughter loved her hot chocolate too. We'll definitely be back

Loved that we landed here today for lunch. Food was delicious, only wish we were more hungry, would have chosen off the menu. What we saw coming out of the kitchen was beautifully presented and lots on the plates. The young serving team were sooo confident and welcoming, such a joy to be among. Also to their credit my, actual up to date L&L magazines. Coming back again. Thank you.

Great coffee & portion size for food. The chicken salad is very chicken heavy which would’ve been great if the chicken wasn’t so dry and sauce/dressing is a bit heavy. The croutons were amazing though. Eggs were cooked well, although one of my friend’s egg was a little more cooked than preferred. Service was okay, they don’t really acknowledge you when you come in, one of the waitresses wasn’t really helpful/attentive (tried to get her to provide extra cutlery when she delivered the coffee) but the other one was. Sitting outside along Picton Street is not the best (loud and dusty) when the bus stop is about 5 - 15m away.

Great place for breakfast. Prices were reasonable. They were out of mushroom but made up for it with bacon. The place was bustling at the time and food came reasonably quick considering how many people there were. The mural on the wall outside is pretty cool. The food was very well prepared and delicious. Presentation was on point. This place is worth a stop. I’ll be back.

Nice cozy atmosphere. It was very entertaining to hear people cheering for the all blacks in another place next door as well as the staff cheering loudly when they tried. Food is good, we ordered mince on toast, pancakes, the special pork bene, and two drinks. Very happy that they have dairy free options for smoothies. The person serving us was very nice an attentive.

Quite a nice spot. Food was quite good, and the service is also quite good with friendly staff. The food came out very quickly as well. My issue comes from one of my poached eggs still having shell in it which I wasn't aware of when I bit into it. The shell lodged itself in my gum (very painful) and I was unable to get it out without assistance from my dentist. Would I come back? Probably, just not likely to be any time soon.

Ordered a slice of carrot cake to takeaway. Took forever for them to cut and box up a slice of carrot cake for us. They didn’t cut up the cake properly and there was a huge chunk missing. They were struggling to close the box for the cake for at least 5 minutes until we walked over and told them not to worry about closing it. Staff here seemed nice but a bit daft. The cake was nice but pricey for the small slice we received.

Good cafe with reasonable fast service and reasonably priced, although it gets busy at times. Good is decent, but the offer of petit size eggs Benedict is a good addition to the menu for those who cannot handle the usual large portions. However for medium coffee, the serving cup seems small.

Stopped by for lunch. It wasn't too busy since we were here quite late so we picked a table by the door. The menu was a bit different to other cafes, for instance, the iced chocolate here had coconut cream so it had a bit of a different flavour. The meals were a bit more standard. I had the mince on toast with a poached egg, It was nice, with the mince sweetened with grated carrots. A nice way to hide veggies for those who don't like it. I was expecting a bit more gravy to dip the bread in though. Also tried a bit of the fish sliders and it wasn't bad. Overall a nice cafe with friendly staff.
