I recently visited Fabrics Restaurant and found the service to be genuinely good β the staff were friendly and attentive. The coffee tasted good but was more warm than hot (even though I did ask for it to be extra hot). My guest had the same issue. They did offer another cup, which was nice, but thereβs only so much caffeine I can handle! My fries, sadly, were cold, which was a bit of a letdown. With a bit more attention to temperature, and requests this place could easily turn a decent visit into a great one.

A superb cafe located on the waterfront at Hobsonville Point. A beautiful local cafe that is now at the heart of the community and located next to the Auckland ferry. The delicious food and coffee is served with a smile and weather permitting sit outdoors and enjoy the environment. The main dining room is vibrant and friendly, serving up a very nice menu. If you want a trip to the bays of Auckland then make Hobsonville part of the journey and make sure you explore the local markets! Enjoy

The view and atmosphere are gorgeous. The food is super eco friendly, the chips are milky colour, cooked by the microwave, so make sure you donβt have too much oil or fat. The top of the cake is black, super burnt, BUT upholding eco friendly standards, how could they just throw it out of the kitchen, so the customer must eat it. The waiter wrote what you ordered but never key in the system. Orrrrr the waitress can never seen anyone came or sit down. It does not matter the cafe is busy or not. Eventually an Asian lady served us, she is very kind. Others can not see me, perhaps I have super power - I am invisible.

Highly recommended β and dog- and baby-approved! We had such a fantastic time at Fabrics in Hobsonville! A special shout-out to the incredible gentleman who seated us. His warm attitude and friendly accommodation set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable visit. The ambience is just stunning β stylish yet cozy, with a great vibe that makes you want to stay longer. We paid $84 for two dishes and two drinks but the experience, service, and setting really do justify it. If you're looking for somewhere to treat yourself or take visiting friends, Fabrics is definitely worth checking out.

Great place with a good location, lovely meals all round. Pictured is seafood chowder, lamb rotti and chicken burger. Chicken burger had a bit more heat (chilli) than I was expecting, but still enjoyable.

service not bad, good atmosphere (at least there is nice view by just looking out the glass) but the food really a jokeβ¦ I thought 35 nzd I would at least get something that could make my stomach full but it ended up like so funny. itβs so tiny piece, and even not much portion side dish are given. kinda like find dining βcould me my ownself problem, I was expecting everything big portionβ

Great location and vibe. Parking can be quite challenging, but it's worth a visit during quieter times. The food was average and predictable, but the barista coffee was outstanding. The service staff members are all very friendly, and I strongly recommend you to try it sometime.

Lovely restaurant by the water. We had breakfast on a beautiful sunny day. I ordered farmhouse eggs with Sourdough Bread and sausage and my niece got the smoked fish on toast. In addition we had a latte and a flat white. We enjoyed our food, although I was surprised to note that the bread was fried!! I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was just toasted lightly with a little butter, but heh, a little grease never hurt anyone!!

Luckily weβd arrive before 11.30 as breaky was still on the offer and we were not disappointed at all. I had the Smoked Kahawai $23 which was to die for so delicious !!! I got the jackpot thought because the Avocado toast looked a wee small for a dollar less. Love the big breakfast up size for hubby though you can chose any breakfast and add hashbrown, bacon, sausage, tomato for only $15 Everyone commented on the sourdough toast and just the food in general well worth the visit to this great location- service a little slow though and it wasnβt particularly busy but all forgiven when I got my breakfast Canβt wait to go back
