“Very authentic Guilin rice noodles - tastes like home. The soup base is rich and flavourful. Portions are pretty big and worth the price. The lady running the store is friendly. Quite a well regarded store in the community. They have other types of broths / toppings too. You can add quill eggs as an extra which is nice. It’s in a food court style area so there is a chance you may need to wait for a seat during very busy times.”

“Absolutely love coming back to Manurewa to get BBQ pork, Crispy Pork & Roast Duck on Rice. Usually this is a 3 option meat meal & it ranges from $20-$25 dollars depending if you want extra spring onion sauce. Small spring onion sauce is $2.50 & big one is $4.50-$5.”

“Just looking for a little place. Just got into town in New Zealand at the pier. Like for some Asian food, something with flavor. We stumbled upon this place. The food was excellent. Service was good. Staff was prompt on all their items. The food is brought out as it's ready instead of waiting for everyone. Kind of nice. They're just small little dishes that we ordered. Everything tasted extremely fresh. Everything tasted the way it should. And met all our expectations. Me and Agnes were both please. Atmosphere sitting on the water. Relaxing. Eating good food beautiful scenery. Even though we're a little tired from our 13-hour flight. Still was nice to sit down. I have quality food. Another week or so here. Can't wait to try many more restaurants.”

“The braised green bean and egg plant was different from pic (no onions, no pepper, and the color) So we asked about it. A staff said, it couldn’t be the same as pic. and plz try it and if you still don’t like it, I’ll change it for you. So we tried and asked another menu. (Taste was good tho) all dishes were fantastic!! and even when we checked out, she changed to lower price we ordered at the first. thank u so much!!”

“Food was scrumptious cocktail was great. Decor of the place was soooo cooooooolllll. Service was decent, not really above and beyond but it is what service should be. Efficient and not intrusive. Food was genuinely really amazing tho. We had and would recommend the: crab and scallops, wagyu beef dumplings, lemongrass skewers, pad Thai and yellow chicken curry. Thanks for the good Tucker.”

“I have tried so many places to find the best dumplings in Auckland and I found them here! The pan fried chicken and chives dumplings are so good, it pairs very well with their house made chili oil. We’ve also had their yang chow rice and fried pork and pineapple with sweet and sour sauce - taste, portion, price = 10/10! Have been twice and so far the quality’s consistent. Happy to have listened to others’ great feedback about Mr. Zhou’s.”

“the best yam char restaurant in Auckland Old fashion but the food is fantastic ****** That was before Covid 928 Yamchar had been in the same location for decades. After Covid it turned into a seafood lovers paradise, offering fresh cook seafood menus including hotpot and stir-fry. $198 as a base for a rich ingredients seafood combination hotpot. It sounds pretty expensive but it's actually worthy to give it a try Two of us were so full with this basic seafood hotpot, we should get more people to order more .”

“I was a regular at this place since 2017 as a chippy at Jutland Rd till now. Throughout I had always enjoyed the wok fried taste. However, around 2020, The Gospel of the Nazarenes (dispelled as a recent work, of course, lies upon lies) came to our awareness and in it, it spoke of "Jesus" being kind to all animals, no, really, even fish. So I gave it a try and after 3 months (Since been a dead body eater for a lifetime), completely off meat then. Our work performance increased and blood circulation freed up due to all the animal fat clogged in our blood veins now gone. Tonight I went to them during a quieter time and bought my own veges and they fried it in their traditional HK styled taste, I just ordered a Singaporean Fried noodles and asked for non egg noodle* plus a bunch of vegetables bought in a box, it is very good and would come back again during a quieter time (*also clogs your arteries up, resulting in early heart attack, hence people now wonder why are people even young dying so early, clutching at their hearts). So if you are too tired or can't be bothered washing dishes, come to these guys with your box of health during their downtime. These are the information and findings of mine, do what you will with it.”

“Was our go to Chinese food spot while we visited Auckland for a couple of weeks. Food was tasty and the shop is clean. Seemed a bit pricey at first but after eating around the city it seemed quite reasonable with the portions we were getting. Would recommend.”

“Got food through Uber Eats today and everything was incredible! Top notch food. We ordered the fried potato and chicken and it had a really good amount of spice in it. The fried pork tenderloin was crispy and flavorful. Then the seafood with fishcakes was also delicious. Highly recommend.”

I dont know whether it’s the good service, fair price, great tasting food or the generous portions but these guys would put any local burger joint or Chinese takeaway out of business if everybody knew about this place. Wouldnt surprise me if the prices went up soon, I dont know how they make a profit on some of their food, especially the burgers!! Very good food, very nice people :)”

“Simply the best Chinese food - all the dishes you normally get at your average Chinese take out but restaurant quality! Lovely people - very friendly and happy. And although we haven’t dined in yet, the restaurant side atmosphere is great. You won’t be disappointed.”

“My sister and I decided to try Fu Lin Kitchen on a whim, we arrived 30 minutes before closing time but the lovely woman let us order what we wanted and the food arrived promptly. I had the beef brisket on rice and cucumber salad, while my sisters had sweet and sour chicken on rice and lemon chicken on rice. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, including my two year old who shared my beef brisket on rice with me. Cooked to perfection. Would definitely come back here again.”
