First time at this particular Yummy King. Love all dishes except duck dishes but thats my preference. Found it cleaner & more spacious than my usual spot however the service is not as vibrant or as friendly. Will return if I am near again
Delicious food. The roast pork fried rice is worth it. They know how to make their Chinese food so can't complain much about the food. They take over the phone orders. Always busy so always guaranteed a nice and fresh meal. A let down sometimes is the poor people skills with the lady taking orders. She can be quite abrupt and unaccomodating.
The taste of this Chinese restaurant is very authentic and the portion is large enough to fill you up. Recommended.
I love the 2 BBQ meat option on rice. The spring onion oil really elevates the entire meal. I highly recommend trying it if you're ordering from this place. Their food is fantastic; I've been getting takeaways from here since 2020.
Absolutely love coming back to Manurewa to get BBQ pork, Crispy Pork & Roast Duck on Rice. Usually this is a 3 option meat meal & it ranges from $20-$25 dollars depending if you want extra spring onion sauce. Small spring onion sauce is $2.50 & big one is $4.50-$5.
Delicious crispy, honey pork and soya chicken. Sometimes, well especially towards closing time the crackling is quite chewy. Despite that I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a pork platter very tasty. Also I recommend their hot chips very outstanding and always hot.
Food is great but the prices are getting higher and higher.
Lunch time! Took a walk down the road with some of my team during lunch break. There's minimal available street parking. The food was tasty and the prices fair. They turned our order around pretty fast too. There were 9 of us and other customers coming and going and it took 20 mins so order ahead if you are in a hurry. I had the bbq pork noodle soup would order it again! Not much room to eat in so better for takeaway.
My favorite Chinese place. Get that spring onion when you're buying fried rice there. The duck, roast pork and soy chicken is awesome.
