“$9.90. Let that sink in for a moment. With such a incredible price point, this establishment checks all of the boxes for dishing out some amazing food at this price point. Amazing mix and portions of meat, vegetables and rice which is punching way above its value. I personally think it's almost impossible to have so much value compared to a home cooked meal. While I haven't been to many $9.90 establishments, I can say that so far, Smart Kitchen has the most in depth and complex flavours. Overall, highly recommend cheap eats lunch box in Albany. Great value and great flavours to make a dent in the saturated $9.90 market.”

“Friendly staff. The restaurant was almost full so I would recommend booking a table beforehand. The waiting time was short and we didn't have to wait long for our food after we ordered. The food was delicious and made with good quality ingredients that is better than other Chinese restaurant nearby. The dish sizes are large, so it's a ideal restaurant for family and/or friend gatherings. I was happy when I saw one of the staff put a dropped table cloth into a bin for cleaning instead of using it anyway, good hygiene practices. Will come again!”

“Been here multiple times and is my go to for beef noodles now! Broth is flavourful, with a tiny fragrance of herbs while not being too oily or heavy. The noodles are made fresh with a good bite and texture. Love the sour cabbage/pickles option. They have a wide range of dishes too, all of them being delicious. Highly recommend this spot! Both more affordable and much tastier than other chains that have sprung up in Auckland.”

Service was good. Staff was prompt on all their items. The food is brought out as it's ready instead of waiting for everyone. Kind of nice. They're just small little dishes that we ordered. Everything tasted extremely fresh. Everything tasted the way it should. And met all our expectations. Me and Agnes were both please. Atmosphere sitting on the water. Relaxing. Eating good food beautiful scenery. Even though we're a little tired from our 13-hour flight. Still was nice to sit down. I have quality food. Another week or so here. “First time trying Kongs Kitchen! We ordered a wonton noodle soup and duck on rice. Wow. Everything was beautiful! So affordable and delicious! Wonton noodle soup: the best in Onehunga. Period. Broth is clear as it should be and tastes like something that will heal your soul. Slightly peppery and full of depth. The wontons were delicious! Very fresh porky flavour and the noodles were super bouncy and chewy, not soggy at all!!! Duck on rice: absolutely delicious. Duck was served with white rice, cabbage and drizzled over with a beautiful sauce. I wish I had taken a photo before I ate but i literally inhaled the food as soon as it arrived My new fave spot! I wish I knew about this spot earlier!!”

“10/10 food and service. Can speak English and chinese very fluently. Don't let the amount of Chinese spoken here bother you. Any western people are more than welcome to eat here. Food felt incredibly healthy with the way they cook food here. Service was superb. The atmosphere can get a bit noisy but that depends on the customers. Other than that 10/10 place would recommend for anyone to visit. And price is reasonable.”
