This place has a lovely traditional vibe, ordering from the menu is online but quick and easy. I came for the clay pot rice and it was very comforting and tasty. The tea they served was delicious, specially made with fruit. I have come before for the hotpot and that was also delicious. I would definitely come back and try the other dishes

That food was fantastic. My friend and I ordered the $18.80 set lunches, and they were perfect. The food temperature for me was great, but my friend would have preferred it to be hotter. You get a massive bowl of rice, 2 side dishes (vegetables, and steamed egg), soup, and your main dish. We got the pork belly and eggplant with pork mince. I highly recommend either. The belly had more spices and a lovely rich flavor, whereas the eggplant was more subtle and sweet. 10/10 place. It is a bit hidden if you don't know Akuland. Bathrooms were a nice.

A good dining place, similar to the good hotpot restaurant in Shanghai. Have separated small rooms for 6-8 people, suitable for family gatherings or business dinner. Or separated open tables for 2-4 people as friends gathering. Quite fully booked, better make reservation. Seafood hotpot is full of all kinds of ingredients: Shrimp, mussels, meat balls. Can add extra beef, vegetables or toufu. Make your own sauce plate in their sauce table. A very very good choice in winter!

I had a fantastic experience at a seafood hot pot restaurant in A bite of Guang Zhou. The flavors were amazing, especially the fresh seafood selection. The service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

Nice and comfortable seating. Good hotpot broth, fresh seafood, one of the better spots for hotpot in Auckland. I think the portion of the food is a bit small for the price you pay. The fried fish skin was good. It’s hard to park on the main road, but if you go on railway street there will be more parking.

Went there as a group of 8, got a room to ourselves. They provide aprons with a cute pocket for your phone. The spicy seafood soup base was really rich, umami, and not salty at all. Coconut water based chicken pot was sweet and full of flavour, need to add a bit of salt if you don't prefer a sweet soup for meat though. The ingredients came with the pots themselves is already quite a lot (especially meat), so wouldn't recommend ordering too much extra. The salted egg fish skin is really fresh, definitely recommend. Clay pot rice is really good, best was the one with pork and sausage. The clay pot rice with salted fish is good too but ummm just be careful you might bite on a huge chunk of salted fish, super fragrant though, definitely enjoyed it.
