It is a takeaway bar not a sit down venue. Our Regular fast food favorite for some fifty years. Good quality Rice and Veg dishes. Plus fish and plentiful chips offered. Always ring in advance for food orders and never disappointed. Hope to enjoy for many more years.
Best potato fritters by far. Standard scoop of chips was a good serve and delicious crunchy chips. Look forward to trying the fish and Chinese menu also.
If the menu uploaded on Google is not up to date, you should add up-to-date photos of your new menu prices. They charged me $18 for vege fried rice (not $16).It's mostly just rice. If I knew that, I would just get the steak one for the same price. There's not even as much egg as the reviewed photo previously posted. I'll rather go to the one closer to my house than drive all the way here again to be charged more than expected and be treated rudely. False advertising, even the guy who took my phone order didn't say "that's going to be $__" at the end of my order and the woman at the cashier was very rude, glaring at me when I pointed out that meat is far more expensive than vege in the grocery stores. Can't believe you are trying to trick people like that!
A hidden gem in birkdale. The taste of the fry rice was so great and only $16. That’s exactly what people want. The owner couples are very friendly, the rest is very busy at lunch time. Thanks so much, we don’t come here often but if we can we will be back!
Best take away in North Shore. I see a lot of people praising the chips and fish. But you are doing a deservice to yourself not trying their sweet and sour chicken and their curry.
The quality of the fried fish has changed. It’s now smaller and the batter is a little bit thick and some part is soggy.
Our family love Golden Ye. Best fish’n’chips ever. Always decent serving sizes AND their burgers are awesome! Staff are friendly & always working hard in the kitchen while also managing to execute great customer service. They always answer their phone. It’s our regular Friday night takeaway shop.
I had a fish and chips special meal. The portion was a bit small for the price I paid for (compared to other takeaways I've been to). But overall, the food was cooked well and it tasted great.
The yummiest takeaways. Their fish and chips are divine and their Chinese food is delicious. Our family's favourite!
