“Best chinese takeaway ever, tried most of the food, all tasted good. Recommend their BBQ pork fried rice, chicken nibbles and their chicken burger”
“Chicken fried rice with chicken fry….awesome combo and yummy taste.. staff are very friendly..”
“Popped in very close to closing time without a booking and they kindly let us dine. We felt like something light and fresh so we got the wontons, kimchi and a couple of the salads - all the ingredients were so fresh and delicious! I have been to Blue Breeze Inn many times over the years and it has never disappointed. Yummy food, lovely atmosphere, exceptional service always. Highly recommend.”
“The most delicious dumplings I’ve ever had! My go-to is the sweet and spicy — absolutely perfect. Ordering online was quick and easy, and the location is super convenient with plenty of parking nearby.”
“Best takeaway in the area. Highly recommend their Sweet and sour pork”
“Good food, good customer service! Satisfy my craving for asian food, been here for many times. Good place to order variety dishes and share with friends and family. Recommended Grilled fish 纸包鱼”
“Excellent. Authentic and generous portions. Great service despite the limited staff.”
“Excellent place to come food was fresh and a food decent serving if chips highly recommended”
“It’s the best BBQ lamb I had in AKL! Love it’s Mongolian style! The meat for the hotpot was fresh and premium! The yoga with honey was great! Btw, the chili was so good!”
“Delicious and authentic rice noodle rolls.”
“I really recommend combo 11. It's so delicious”
“Excellent fish and chips. Quick, friendly team and very good quality. Your the best. Cheers”
“Xi Ann Food Bar is a cozy, small shop that punches well above its weight. They make their own noodles from scratch, which truly elevates the dish. We highly recommend trying their cumin lamb noodles—they’re delicious, packed with flavor, and the portions are huge, easily enough to share between two people. The unique, fresh quality of the homemade noodles and the well-balanced seasoning make for a memorable dining experience. One noodle cost about 15$.”
“Amazingly delicious Chinese food honestly priced. Portions are big so if you order onr main with one starter it would be sufficient for 2 We ordered one Black pepper beef with 2 steam rice and one plate veg spring rolls. Total spent 50 New Zealand dollars.”
“Lovely Xinjiang style food in Dominion Rd. Stopped in for lunch and it didn't disappoint. Had me thinking of my time working in China with lovely homemade yoghurt drink and tasty lamb kebabs. Definitely recommend this place, great food and service in a cosy little shop. Decor is simple, but it's the food that counts.”
“I had dinner here tonight and was blown away by the food. Everything was full of flavor and beautifully prepared, but the dumplings stood out as some of the best I’ve ever had – soft, perfectly cooked, and packed with taste. The service was friendly, the atmosphere warm, and the menu offered plenty of authentic options. Highly recommended – a must-visit if you enjoy great Chinese cuisine!”
“This Thai restaurant is right near my home, and I can't believe I had never tried it before! I decided to give it a shot over the weekend and was surprised to find it quite busy. I ordered a **Prawn Nasi Goreng**—the portion was huge, and the rice was packed tightly into the bowl. It was super fragrant! I also got the **Crispy Pork Belly**—the pieces were large, and the sauce mixed with the fried rice was incredibly delicious. Finally, I ordered a snack: **Satay Skewers**—chicken skewers coated in rich satay peanut sauce, absolutely amazing! The restaurant even offers a **keto menu**, so it's great for those on a diet or into fitness. I'll definitely be going back again!”
“Had such a lovely experience dining here. If you’re craving classic Taiwanese dishes, this is the best by far, in Akl. The stinky tofu was similar to the night market offerings in TW. Other classics we tried were beef noodle soup, 3 cup chicken, pork braised noodles etc. Delicious! Service is great too. Will be coming back again!”
“Massive servings with great quality food! Really happy will be a repeat customer”
“Tasty food and super friendly service with generous portions”
“Every dish was divine. The menu is super vegetarian and vegan friendly and the staff are welcoming.”
“Hands down favourite dumplings in the whole wide world has to be the pork and chive in spicy sauce. Their ‘hot’ is not to be underestimated, but even though it burns a little for me it’s well worth it. Dan dan noodles a nice accompaniment to the dumplings but not a must. Portion sizes are huge so always go for the Small if in doubt. Fell in love with the original Basu Lounge in Takapuna but I really rate their Browns Bay location more.”
“Incredible value and huge portions! The food is delicious and there's plenty of options. The free soup counter is an extra bonus. I wish I lived nearby and could come eat here all the time! The sticky rice stuffed sausage was a bit sweet for my tastes, but the portions were still great. They don't offer stinky tofu as an individual dish- it's only included in hotpot orders. Parking is a bit difficult during peak meal hours. Excellent, excellent value!”
“Delicious Satay lamb stir fry noodles $22. Excellent customer service. Prodominately Chinese themed menu and restaurant. Large portions, delicious hot temperature food.”
“I rate this as the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever tasted. The sweet and sour pork as well as the chow mein are my favorite dishes. Their service is excellent and they operated safely through Covid lockdown. I hope they become available on Uber Eats one day.”
“This Auckland spot has some amazing Chinese food! The rice noodle rolls are so chewy and the sauce is delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to try the other flavors. And let me tell you, the polo bun and egg tarts were a hit - they disappeared in no time! I also grabbed some frozen BBQ pork buns to take home - there are so many savory and sweet flavors to choose from. Plus, the restaurant has plenty of parking, it's clean and the staff are super friendly.”
“It was a great experience, amazing food, super cool staff”
“Great Chinese food. Good deals. Friendly staff. Updated Menu Photo. Recommended.”
“Love the fish and chips here, kiwi as. Chinese looks pretty good to.. shop was really busy, friendly staff and efficient service. Yum fish and chips!”
“There are very good steamed dishes here, and the price is very cheap.”
