“The food is great and the service is lovely. It’s not the cheapest option for Asian food, especially compared to nearby places, but if you’re happy to pay a bit more for quality, this is the on”
“The interior design and layout is so nice. It made me feel like I was in China. A variety of different things to put in your soup. I love the soup, it was so delicious. The lamb and beef skewers were nice. I love the chilli oil you guys have, it tasted absolutely amazing. The ice cream was good too, wish there was other choices though. The staff were friendly and always willing to check up on you and give you a hand. I want to come back again, but it is a bit expensive though. However, I think the quality of food here is really good so hopefully one day I will come back. Highly recommend this place for good quality foods and perfect for winter. Thank you!”
“This restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience. The diverse menu, coupled with top-notch service, made for an unforgettable meal. The dishes were not only visually stunning but also rich in flavor. I was impressed by the thoughtful presentation and the depth of taste in each dish. Moreover, the ambiance was warm and inviting. I would highly recommend this place to any food lover. Can't wait for my next visit! The new owner is a very nice person.”
“Have gone to this place for many years. Offers great noodles and rice noodles, clean environment, good service”
“I was craving something like this and ended up here for my first time. Usually I'm a picky eater but the flavours are amazing, the service was great and super quick. Very polite and friendly also! I would recommend coming back here. Thank you so much ☺️”
“The hotpot at this place is super tasty. A bit pricy but otherwise everything there tastes amazing.”
“Delicious authentic food. We enjoyed three amazing, generous dishes and were amazed to see the amount of food coming out to the busy tables. Everything was beyond delicious and the service was great. Can’t wait to go back”
Leonard's Gourmet runs with a classic fish‑and‑chips menu and a relaxed pace. Fish lands crisp with light batter and chips stay tidy. Dumplings and bowls carry clear, direct flavours. The team keeps things friendly and organised.
“One of the most tasty dishes I’ve ever eaten. Five spice beef is one of my definite favorites and highly recommend, it’s along a very convenient location in Queen Street and nearby a lot of shops, restaurants, and accommodations too. Service is impeccable! Would eat here again when I come back to Auckland.”
“Honestly the best Chinese/European takeaways ive ever had. They have an extensive menu and everything comes to served hot and tastes really fresh and delicious. There isnt too much of a wait time here. I refuse to get my takeways from any other in the area!”
“Silver Bell has been our go to for years for chinese takeaway. Food is always fresh and the lady is always good to us. Only issue was finding an updated menu online. Took a few pics of the menu when I picked my order up.”
“Love this place! We are huge fans and regularly eat here! Steamed pork & prawn dumplings, fried rice with egg and crispy sweet & sour pork are on regular repeat for us. Either you dine in or takeaway the food is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!!”
“Been the same consistency with flavor for as long as I can remember. Good prices for your money when it comes to flavor and portions compared to many others.”

“We ordered 佛跳墙 Buddha jumps over the wall hotpot and it was tasty. We booked our reservation for a dinner on a Sunday night and it was a right decision because it was quite busy - Monday was King’s birthday (public holiday). The parking spaces can be quite hard to find in that area during dinner time.”
“Awesome noodle soup top tier and only 15 bucks”
“Food was nice and hot, even brought to my car outside. Fish was not drowning in batter or fishy at all. 10/10 The deals at this takeaway are so budget friendly.”
“Baked pork chop on rice with tomato sauce and baked chicken on fried rice with Portuguese sauce. Very tasty. Authentic Hong Kong food. Would recommend.”

“Got takeaways here, three dishes, moderately priced Great taste, good heated up the next day too”
“The yum cha experience was thoroughly enjoyable! The cuisine was both delicious and authentically prepared, which I greatly appreciated. The service was exemplary, with staff demonstrating a high level of attentiveness and warmth, and the pricing struck me as quite reasonable given the quality provided. There’s a consistent and genuine charm to the place, reminiscent of a well run family establishment. The atmosphere carries a nostalgic 90s essence, creating a cozy and relaxed setting that I found most pleasant. All in all, it was a highly satisfying outing, and I am certainly looking forward to returning in the near future.”
“Love the Chinese food menu. Always a good stop off on the way home when cooking is the last thing on your mind. On the fish and chips great value. They will even cook your own catch for you. On my favourite, it may be the cheapest on the menu but the won-tons and dipping sauce are the best I have had. So good they don't normally make it homel.”
“Chicken cashew pineapple was the TOP!!! Wonton never fails to impress me, it is my go to take away.”
“Great food and great atmosphere. The place fulled up quickly. All the food was great. Our server could have smiled or engaged a bit more.”
“My sister and I decided to try Fu Lin Kitchen on a whim, we arrived 30 minutes before closing time but the lovely woman let us order what we wanted and the food arrived promptly. I had the beef brisket on rice and cucumber salad, while my sisters had sweet and sour chicken on rice and lemon chicken on rice. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, including my two year old who shared my beef brisket on rice with me. Cooked to perfection. Would definitely come back here again.”
“Any fans of pork buns should absolutely check this place out if they ever have the pleasure of visiting Auckland. This place has perfected everything that makes up the delicate, fluffy and sweet bun and the savoury, saucy pork interior. The chef's work hard and deserve lots of praise for the dishes and clouds of porky goodness they create. I unfortunately didn't catch the name of the kind girl who served me but her kind smile and service added to the experience of eating at Sunny Town.”
