   Overall, it's okay. Went in and ordered the Potatoes with beef (Medium Spicy), the price was quite reasonable at 16.50 and a rice bowl was $1 extra ($17.50). The Potatoes with Beef came in a quite generous portion. Quite large and presented nicely. The taste at first was pleasant, however after a few more bites it's clear that it has been over salted.

   One of My Favorites . Signature Rice Noodle with Braised Bone In & signature Chicken Steak The braised bone in meat is incredibly tender and full of flavor. The broth is rich and delicious, making it very comforting to eat. The chicken steak is perfectly cooked ,juicy on the inside with a nicely seasoned, flavorful outer layer. Highly recommend both dishes if you’re visiting. These two are definitely must tries ☺️☺️

   Loved the new small pot dishes at Dagu Rice Noodle (North Shore, Auckland)! The Braised Beef Brisket with Potatoes was tender and flavorful, with rich sauce-soaked potatoes. The Spicy Squid Tentacles were chewy, perfectly spiced, and packed with flavor. Portions are just right, ingredients are fresh, and the taste is authentic. A great addition to their menu—highly recommended for a hearty meal beyond rice noodles! Will be back!

   Had the braised beef on rice and the signature pork bone rice noodles. The beef really have the authentic Shanghai taste and it doesn't look like they add too much msg in the food. The noodle broth was creamy and light taste which is really good. Pork was fatty and yummy. Temperature of the noodle and broth was nice and hot. Didn't like the luke warm miso soup that came with the rice so I didn't finish that. Bubble tea drinks were ok. Overall pretty decent food, will come back and try other options since they have a big menu.

   I had the signature rice noodle for dinner and the soup was good, but the noodle was not the texture I expected. Also the spicy chicken side were a cold dish, felt like chicken left over from night before. Maybe you should write that on the menu so other costomers know its a cold dish.

   I'm not too familiar with Chinese cuisine so this may just be me, but I found the noodle soup to be rather underwhelming. It was alright, but the flavour was rather lacking. The toppings and noodle were good though. Portion size was also fairly decent. The milk tea is also pretty good.
