“Love the coffee, love the service”

“About twice a year me and my wife grab a coffee or a smoothie just before our dental appointment at Viva Dental down the road. I must say both of us have been very happy with what we have had in this cafe. The coffee is delicious and so are the smoothies. The staff are quite friendly as well. Overall - highly recommended. Great coffee!!!!”

“The snickers shake is one of the best shakes I have ever had and the donuts were delicious. The worker named Cherry is very lovely and helpful, especially because I was quite rude. I wanted to use my grab one voucher but there were no donuts, she put some aside for me the next day to pick up. I was super grateful and they were worth the wait. Thanks Cherry.”

“Beautiful space with staff who genuinely care about finding homes for surrendered older cats. Some of these reviews are ridiculous- what do you expect a room with 20 cats to smell like? Would absolutely recommend to anyone who'd like to spend some time with some gorgeous friendly mature cats or find a new furry companion.”

“Beautiful breakfast, beautiful location. You won't be disappointed choosing Lux Cafe for your breakfast on the viaduct. The cabinet food also looked appealing but we had smashed avocado on toast and their big breakfast. Chef obviously takes pride in his work. Thank you”

“Mōrena cafe is my regular go-to in Botany as the food is fresh and very reasonable and I always get great service from the lovely owners. Excellent omelettes, frittata, scones and carrot cake, but my favourite is the iced matchas and matcha lattes.. good spot to work from and gets lots of sunlight :)”

“Had a great time! The interior is beautiful and the food was so delicious. So much flavor! However, I noticed that there was only 1 person in the kitchen doing cooking and dishwashing? The Cafe would definitely benefit from having a full kitchen team looking at all these other reviews.”

“Wow what an amazing place! First time in the staff Greeted me with a welcoming G'day. Unfortunately I'm gluten free (celiac) However this wasn't a problem as they had a few different opinions. The Kebab came out before I could sit down, To say the service was outstanding is an understatement. My first bite left me wondering if I should get up & order a second (the portion to price was definitely correct) it was absolutely delicious. This little store almost hidden away beat my expectation right out of the ball park, I will promise you one thing I will definitely be returning for more... Kind Regards, One very happy customer”

“Lovely Chai latte, can definitely tell that they use real ingredients for their food and drink. Service was lovely and it seems to be a family run joint. If you sit outside it’s a perfect place to enjoy the sunshine and people watching. Inside seating had nice vibes as well, quiet and not crowded on a Saturday morning. If I had time I would definitely come back to try their food which looked and smelled delicious.”

“Love this place. The girls that run it so a wonderful job at keeping up with what can be many customers all wanting something to eat and drink. Tried many things on the menu, loved them all but I'd have to say my favourites were the hot chips, by far the best I've had while travelling NZ and the BLAT Sandwich. Also the Carrot Muffins are divine. The coffee was also a must have for my morning routine. Look forward to coming back in the future.”

“Had a party here recently for my daughters birthday, the islander man was super friendly and helpful. The party rooms are spacious and clean and the playground is set up nicely. My daughter and her friends had a blast! Would recommend :)”

“Cheap and varied food options, cabinet and fresh food, very quick service and very tasty food. Would recommend the $11 two food choice from their hot selection, i went with Garlic potatoes and beef meatballs. Drinks are expensive but the food prices balance it out.”
