The orange beef is also amazing holy heck! I wanna get on a plane and come back to upper hutt not for any other reason than to get a large smorgasbord option!!!! I miss you!!@!”

“IG: 2Fish1Chip Order: Blue Cod, Warehou and a scoop of chips. Cost: $33.80 I thought two different fillets would be better for comparison and as a more solid baseline. Firstly, WTAF!?! The size of these fillets were ginormous!!! I had to put a can of coke next to them for scale! Both fillets were equally delicious and cooked to peak performance. The Warehou was fresh and steaky as you would expect. Tasty and filling to the very end. The batter had perfect colouring and crunch. The Blue Cod had the same battered goodness, and flesh was flaky, soft and melted in your mouth. Classic Blue Cod vibes all the way to bank! The only minor piece on both fillets was the batter. The inside was a little underdone probably due to the dense mixture, but it was only a minor blip against the entire experience. The Crickle Cuts, we’re good as well. Nice crunch before reaching the pillowy centre. The portion was twice that of an average serving. ✅ Portion ✅ Cost ✅ Taste - With an asterisk for the batter Definitely value for money from these guys. Not sure if it was a one off, but I’d be keen to go back and do check in come summer. Xiexie”

Fast and very affordable, my whole family enjoyed their time along with the naughty kids. Sorry about the kids running around during dinner. “Alright, listen up! I walked into this Kiwi chippie, hood up, trying to be low-key, but the smell of fried goodness hit me harder than my mom’s spaghetti. So, I ordered this hotdog on a stick. Let me tell you, this ain’t your regular, everyday hotdog. This bad boy was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, like my feelings after I drop a diss track. First bite? BOOM. A flavor explosion that made me lose myself. The batter was golden, the sausage juicy, and it was so good I nearly forgot Kim’s number. The only problem? I couldn’t tell if the hotdog was wrapped in batter or love. Either way, I’m giving this thing a certified 8 Mile out of 10. Would I order again? Guess who’s back, back again… to the Kiwi chippie!””

The whole environment feels warm, inviting, and just genuinely nice to be around. The food is amazing — full of rich, complex flavours that tick every box for me. My room on the 26th level offered amazing views of the city the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. When I checked in, In my room I was welcomed with a complimentary glass bottle and some delicious chocolates, which was such a nice surprise! The room itself was super spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed? Absolutely comfy! I had some of the best sleep I've had in a while, thanks to the cozy bedding. Let’s talk breakfast! The buffet was fantastic. There was so much to choose from, but I have to give a shoutout to the chef for frying my eggs just right and whipping up an omelette that was simply delicious. It really set the tone for a great day. The staff here were friendly and helpful, always there when I needed something. Plus, the hotel is in a prime location, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, my stay at the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor was fantastic. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfy and enjoyable place to stay in the city.”

“Despite our last minute booking at 9pm, it was nice to get the instructions for parking and simple directions to use the shower facilities. We got off the ferry with our motor home at 1am in the morning. And the parking was easy. Lots of spaces for motorhomes in the powered site. Nice clean shower. Everything was neat and well managed. Love it. The lady at the reception I met in the morning was friendly, helpful and nice. Thank you for all the help”

“Overall very nice, as advertised. Cleaning is performed regularly and thoroughly. Quite close to the motorway and windows are single glazed so the noise is quite noticeable. Rooms are nicely furnished, Rooms are a little dated. Enjoyed my stay overall!”
