   I really enjoy coming here whenever I’m craving something delicious and hot. The staff are always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and smiling when taking orders. The whole environment feels warm, inviting, and just genuinely nice to be around. The food is amazing — full of rich, complex flavours that tick every box for me. The waitresses are super kind, and even the chefs always smile and wave at customers from my experience. For the quality you get, the price is absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!

   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fresh, tasty food and friendly service. We had prawn spring rolls and roti with peanut sauce to start, followed by Massaman curry with fried chicken and rice. The Butterfly Pea Tea and Aroy Exclusive Blend were great complements. Good value and a relaxed vibe—would happily return.

   If you're after delicious chicken fried rice, Aaron Thai really delivers—it’s consistently flavoursome and satisfying. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which adds to a pleasant dining experience overall. However, over the last couple of times I noticed changes: the portion sizes have dropped significantly, and what you get now hardly seems enough for one person. At the same time, prices are still high, which makes the value feel off. That portion vs price mismatch was the biggest disappointment.

   Ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup for delivery, but it came more like Tom Yum dry noodles. The broth was barely there, just 2 spoonfuls left, and the noodles soaked up everything. Ended up with a bowl of dry noodles instead of a soupy meal.

   We dined in on Saturday 1 July, my partner my daughter And I. We were greeted from the most loveliest staff member. She was a lovely server also bringing us water to our table with a smile. The young man who served us our food also was a lovely server. The food was great and the atmosphere was awesome

   After reading all the other reviews, either I’ve gone to a completely different restaurant or some people don’t know what they are talking about. Aroy Thai Eatery in Porirua is absolutely brilliant! It’s clean, modern and well presented. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. We ordered the roti along with the pad thai and the crispy pork. Each dish was delicious and we couldn’t pick a favourite as each had its own unique taste. I have no hesitations recommending Aroy and will definitely be back again!
