“The one on Courtney place, excellent. Great staff, well bar one who works Saturdays (she is rough around the edges, makes calls during meal prep and is rude) she charges you for nuts but gives free nuts to handsome caucasian men. Fresh food, great place to eat, affordable. Healthy, convenient and a lunch time fav. 5 stars!”

“Sorry no photos. Pork dumplings are the best I have tasted in NZ so far, so full of flavour, as for the crumbed chicken it is so tasty. This shop suits my buds for maybe once a fortnight as it is fried food but certainly looking forward to my next visit. Thank you.”

Their revamped website also deserves a mention — clean design, smooth navigation, and an excellent user interface. It’s clear Bikaner has stepped up its game and set a higher standard for Indian dining in the area.”

“Was extremely satisfied with my stay at Oaks Wellington, from the moment you check-in the staff will go out of there way to help in anyway. The rooms are tastefully decorated with nice mutual colors that give that nice relaxing vibe, plenty of space to move around as well. Room has everything you need for a awesome stay, my room was large and extremely comfortable, the balcony was a good spot to relax and unwind any time of the day. The bar and restaurant is brilliant, has a wide range for the buffet breakfast which tasted fresh and well cooked. Check-in and check-out was a breeze with no issues for both. Enjoyed my stay, and will definitely be back the next time I am in Wellington. A few nights was definitely not long enough”

Friendly, polite staff; reasonable prices; and the food was an ~8.5/10 (for me). Meat was very tender and flavours full, level of spice and salting just right. Restaurant space appears simple but quite cute, would happily eat in. Cheers”

“My always stay in Welly. Some rooms have been upgraded and are lovely others very tired but lovely and clean. Parking, bar and restaurant on site and a courtesy coach.”

“A gem in Miramar. They have some dishes that you can't find in other Thai restaurant, such as the chicken wing stuffed with minced pork and vermicelli (wow), and sum tum salad, which has sliced deep fried chicken/beef and lettuce aside (wow). Though their Tom Yum soup is very average. So I guess it depends what you order. And the bar is really good, the Lemon, lime & bitters only costs $3.”

Kids loved the both the green tea and apple tea. If you have never had apple tea, strongly suggest you give it a go :) Next time we are in Tawa we definitely will be back.”

“We arrived unknowingly before opening time. The owner saw us and opened up for us and gave a great run down on the great variety of sushi they sell. The two in our group who are sushi fans were really impressed and loved the sushi. Definitely great sushi at a very reasonable price. You've got to try it.”

“We lunched at St Pierre for a quick shopping lunch of brown rice tuna avocado sushi and Katsu chicken on rice and Te food was delicious not to mention, we received fantastic customer service AND managed to get a table!”

“Really tasty fish, moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The traditionally hand-cut chip tasted better compared to commercially made ones. Paua fritter is special. Definitely value for money … I paid around £5.50 in the UK for a piece of fish - visiting kiwi living in London! Will call again if I live nearby.”
