Every time I went to this restaurant the quality gone down and price gone up. What are you serving to your customers I have doubt now. I bought this vegetable corma just now had couple to bits but it’s disgusting and disappointing for me. Its was a wastage my money and time to go this restaurant again. Horrible food really it’s smells really bad.
Thank you to the lovely man who despite the shop getting ready to close, ensured I had a freshly heated nann bread from the back despite the last one being on the heated plate. His thoughtfulness was immensely appreciated. Thank you and the meal was delicious.
This place has fantastic curry. I highly recommend trying the goat on the bone; it was a highlight of my meal. There was so much meat, it was incredibly generous. The portion of rice was also very plentiful, complementing the curry perfectly. I was thoroughly impressed with the flavors and the overall experience. It's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a satisfying and delicious curry. I'll certainly be back for more soon.
I was craving a mall food court butter chicken, but this isn’t it. Tastes watered down and seriously lacking in flavour. Rice was a bit mushy too, not the texture I was after. Nice naan though.

For $19, I got about four small pieces of meat floating in heaps of sauce in my butter chicken. You get more meat in your meal for $13 bucks from the store beside it.
I would eat this butter chicken for breakfast lunch and dinner. I live in Australia now and everytime I go back home to Wellington I go back to Shamiana. It's the beeeeesttttt. Literally the best butter chicken I've EVER had
I really like their butter chicken, I think it is one of the best in the Hutt area. Minus one star as they still use plastic/non-biodegradable utensils.
