    Unfortunately the katsu on noodles is not that great. No flavour on the noodles, overcooked katsu chicken (tastes slightly burnt, it looks like they left it in the fryer too long). Way too much teriyaki sauce and barely any Mayo on the top. Customer service is amazing and very friendly. Go to Newtown One Sushi for the best sushi and katsu ever!

    Sorry no photos. Pork dumplings are the best I have tasted in NZ so far, so full of flavour, as for the crumbed chicken it is so tasty. This shop suits my buds for maybe once a fortnight as it is fried food but certainly looking forward to my next visit. Thank you.

    Went here twice in once day to get my husband food (it's not gluten free so I couldn't eat it.) Purchased 3 pieces of sushi that looked very unique. They are $1.60 a piece. - Fried onion with fresh avocado - Two mini lumpia - Fried fishcake (weren't sure if it was fish or rice cake.) Husband enjoyed it so much that we came back and got him a katsu noodle bowl for $12.50. This is located in the Capital Market so you can eat it here or take it to go. He had the sushi to go and the bowl at the market. Visited February 2023

    That was utter rubbish such a small portion and wasn't nice. People don't waste your time with this one sushi store The others around are better.

    Much better chicken katsu than One Sushi on Courtenay. Needs 5 star to bring the average up; doesn't make sense that Courtenay has a higher overall rating!

    This OS operates from a stall within the Capital Markets Food Court and like the other OS franchises offers sushi and katsu donburis made to their standard formula, complete with their sauces (for the katsu). Service is fast and staff are courteous. There is a small, steady stream of customers throughout the day.
