Great little Indian Restaurant on Manners St. Likely the best price for value in town. I ordered the special in the picture below for $15, which came with 4 curries of your choosing, rice and naan bread - unbeatable.
Love this place. Quick and accessible Indian food that is delicious, in a setting that makes you feel like you’re eating chaat in India. Usually plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. I highly recommend the Chole Bhatura and the Samosas.
Delicious and good prices. The woman who served us was lovely. We tried the wrap to go style and was great on the go. Just make sure to ask what is spicy depending of your tolerance level :)
Small casual street food style take out place with fantastic prices. Much cheaper than other places, but you notice the difference in decor, upkeep etc. Some items are heated in a microwave. It's generally tasty, but you get what you pay for.
Great place for authentic Punjabi food if you are not after fine dining atmosphere and a plastic spoon is good enough. The Special Thali (4 different curries of your choice, rice, naan bread) for 15 bucks is awesome value and the couple running the place are as friendly as it gets. Both thumbs up!
I went to this restaurant for the $14.99 deal. Great price for rice+4 curries AND naan, food tasted awesome! The guy in charge was also really friendly and accommodating.

Economical place compared to other restaurants considering the fact that this is a fast food joint. Don't miss out on their curry collections. They taste a little sour, may be because of fresh lemon juice. But great taste, great quality, always served hot! If you are in Te Aro around Cuba or Manners Street, you should definitely check it out! The pics I have included are of Saag Paneer and Daal Tadka. Haven't tried their naan yet. I keep my budget at $8 for brunch!
