“Really impressed with the service provided by the kitchen/laundry department. The Häfele flat pack cupboards and drawer units, and the Elfa shelving system turned our laundry from drab to fab. Now it's an awesome space with marvelleous storage!”
“The kids love this playground. Lots of options for games and activities with plenty of places to sit for a snack and a drink as well. Having the cafe kiosk and toilet block right there is equally important for kids and parents.”
“Very sad to see where so many were washed ashore that night so many years ago. All the documentaries & history books can't show you how far away from Wellington CBD by road it all was. I think it is a must see for all NZers.”
“We love the cafe in this Mitre 10. Their fries are much better than all other Columbus Coffee in town. Apart from the cafe, we look for interesting plants there as well. It never let us down.”

“5 star review for the lovely young Pasifika woman (apologies I didn't catch her name but wanted to make sure she was identified) who assisted me on the 25th of June around approx 5/6pm with my dehumidifier. I brought in my dehumidifier (almost at 2 years old) due to electrical faults and concerns, wanting to check my warranty and if I could get some help. Initially I was assisted by an older lady who misunderstood my request thinking I was after a return/refund, after I had specifically asked for some help with my machine that had sparked when I plugged in & was wanting to know if it was still under warrant and/or if someone could help fix it. She then proceeded to tell me I needed a receipt even after I showed my online contact with Mitre 10 noting the staff could call the shipping store upon arrival to assist and get the receipt details as it was an online order, but she told me to ring the store myself. As I went outside to grab the machine from my car & brought it back in with my daughter, I hear the woman telling the young lady I was after a refund/return which was in fact untrue, I quickly corrected her and this is where the young lady came in and helped me out. As I purchased online there was no physical copy but she was super helpful as I showed her the email contact with Mitre 10 & online details i could provide, The young lady got the initial staff member to call up the shipping store and was just super helpful and sorted it out fast and efficient. Great customer service, attentive, listened to what I needed and I was able to get a replacement as I was still within my 2 year warranty. The difference in service was visible & I think shes a great example of perfect customer service. Thank you very much to this young lady- approachable, super helpful and super happy with the outcome.”
“Great fun for the whole family. Slides, hot pills, sauna, steam room, waves, basketball hoop. Lots of fun”
“Such a great place for dogs to play in a fenced area. Our pup had a blast!”
“Great, clean and well cared for dog exercise area. Well equipped with tap water, water bowl and doggie bags.”

“Kilbirnie Park is a versatile and well-maintained green space in Wellington, perfect for both recreational activities and community events. The park boasts spacious fields that cater to a wide range of sports, including rugby, soccer, and cricket. These fields are regularly used by local clubs, schools, and casual players, making it a hub for sports enthusiasts of all ages. The park also includes an athletics track, which is ideal for runners and athletes looking to train. One of the standout features of Kilbirnie Park is its family-friendly environment. The park’s wide-open spaces also make it a great spot for picnics or leisurely walks. It’s dog-friendly, so many locals enjoy taking their pets for a stroll. The park’s location is very convenient, being close to Kilbirnie’s shopping area, bus routes, and other amenities. The nearby Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre is an added bonus for those looking to swim or relax after some outdoor activity. While the park is generally well-maintained, the fields can become a bit muddy during the rainy season. Overall, Kilbirnie Park is a fantastic community asset, offering something for everyone—whether you're there for sports, family time, or simply enjoying the outdoors.”
