“Mosgiel pool is a most excellent family destination, years in the planning turned out to be really worth the wait. Lane swimming, family fun areas, aqua jogging and and spa pools all well appointed.”
“Beautiful place with a good sized family pool. Lane pools are split perfectly eith a great temperature to them. The spa is magnificent with a perfect heat and great size! Highly recommended”
“Great company to deal with from the very start. When our build plans were delayed they were happy to store the spa for us until the deck it was to sit on was completed. Installation was quick and hassle free. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, definitely recommend.”
At Bowey's Pool Lounge & Bar, the menu stays simple, bistro-style, served with an easygoing pace. Portions are generous yet well judged. Music and pace keep a casual tone. Service stays present without fuss.
“Although the pool is working under level two and there is no showers, drinking fountains or spa, I am grateful that they are open. The staff are extra welcoming. There are restrictions on numbers in at a time, this is to keep us safe. I like that you can buy a multi ticket and get a good discount.”
“Just had spa water test done. Very friendly and quick”
“Amazing love love this school next year is my last year at this school :( ♡”
“Great wee swimming pool. Very casual and good facilities. Sadly only 1 shower.”
“I used a TENS machine through my contractions of my first baby and found it so helpful and distracting from the pain. It was easy to use and well packaged. Communication was easy and Hannah was so lovely and helpful :) I would highly recommend to all my friends!”
“Marian Poole is an intelligent and experienced piano/theory teacher and respected musicologist.”
“Pacific ocean views, seal lions lounging, volcanic rock formations brought to you by Monarch cruises and their knowledgeable staff, especially Will.”
“Great place to visit! You can see wild sea lions with a nice view. Easy to get there, though to come up again.”
“A great evening seeing the penguins come ashore, socialise and settle into their nests in their natural environment. Complimented by the detailed knowledge and enthusiasm of the guides. We also very much enjoyed the nature drive from Dunedin stopping at a number of locations to see the spectacular views and many birds along the shoreline.”
“Great place to visit! You can see wild sea lions with a nice view. Easy to get there, though to come up again.”
“Sue and the team at the South Dunedin Branch were fantastic to deal with easy loan progress, friendly and quick recommend them .”
“We took the one hour wildlife cruise from Wellers Rock. The guide was very knowledgeable about the birds and other wildlife, their lifecycle, nesting and lots of other information. We saw albatross, little penguins and a couple of seals. They have jackets and binoculars that you can use. Great cruise, really enjoyed it.”
“Beautiful walk along the beach. Perfect stroll for a clear afternoon.”
“We read a review somewhere when looking for a beer and it said Jones is the best publican ever. He is the man. Had a great couple of pints and chat, discussing all things music/flying nun/family heritage/brewery history. Thanks for your time today and keep the music going!”
“This is a unique time capsule and an example of very clever late 19th/early 20th century innovations in domestic architecture/technology. Absolutely fascinating and guides were encyclopedic in their knowledge. Even the family history was attention grabbing. Everybody in our group was impressed with this place. 6 (or 7) out of 5 stars.”
“Such a wonderful place to visit. So many things to offer for young and old. You have to visit all the areas, the herb circle, playground feeding the ducks was hilarious with our kids. We came back again to explore more and see the aviary which was awesome, the birds are hilarious and beautiful.”
“A beautiful hidden gem! Gravel trail which leads to a beautiful and surreal view of the beach! Best to wear takkies, carry a jacket and a bottle of water as the trail is long, gets windy and is quite a workout.. but absolutely worth every step!”
“Beautiful place to visit. It was a good day when we went, nice sunny day. Kids' parks are there, and toilets are available for the public. There is a cafe area there, too. Free car parking. Overall, it was a very good experience. You can plan a good picnic day with kids there. Always carry a light jacket just in case of rain or wind.”
“Great place check out the city. Also found a teenage blackbird bath in a dirty water hole. Brave bird wasn’t afraid of me at all but it didn’t know bathing in dirty water won’t get itself clean”
“It's such a beautiful walk views are amazing must do walk”
“A really fun thing to do. And this is coming from a girl who is by no means a beer fanatic. Thomas was a great tour guide, incredibly knowledgable and very passionate. Good sense of humour too. Really cool to do a truly South Island experience, delicious beer tasting at the end, plus the gift shop does actually have quite cool stuff! Thanks for a fun arvo team :)”
“Beautiful place. If you are here only for an afternoon or you have a SC vehicle it is a good spot. It is just few metres from the beach, there are picnic tables to use, serviced toilets, outdoor shower, dump station and running watter as well as a sink for washing up (cold water only though). There are 10 spots for the camping in ur car and they do fill up in quick after 3 pm. Beautiful sunrise. Good for dipping in the sea but beware of currents.”
