Came here for the new sculpture in Welly by Seung Yul Oh’s KIMI/You Are Here! The sculpture itself looks like an inverted drop of tears, made of mirrored steel. Really cool to see our reflection on it with different perspectives.
Not bad, Ramps are a bit steep but big half pipe is well. Very slippery rails
Lively place for fun & family… expect to find Runners & Dog walkers on your way

Much needed green zone in the CBD, hosts many weekend events.
Had to work there all day. Accessible restrooms, cafes, and lunches available within 75 m. A New World 5 min walk away. Expensive parking- $35 for all day in the metered lot. Takes credit cards with pay wave, at least.
Waitangi Park is a great open green space for just relaxing anytime of day. Surrounded by small trees offering shade. Great for a picnic or field games as well as rough and tumble for small children. Toilets are close by.
