   The place is beautiful and easy to access, the river current was a bit strong for my younger 2 kids but fully enjoyed our 6 hour swim today. Good place to do Manus too.

   Lovely safe swimming hole formed in a bend in the Hutt River, just below the Mangaroa Intersection Traffic Lights in Totara Park, Upper Hutt. Ideal for all the family on a hot day. Clean, deep, fresh water. There are a number of things to jump off, for those who are a bit more adventurous. Easily accessed with a carpark nearby. There is no better place to be when it's 30°C plus.
