“Really good gym, pricing a bit above average but worth it. Fantastic range of gym equipment and machines but also gives you access to the pool and spa/sauna facilities. Every is cleaned frequently and very polite friendly staff/trainers”
“Great indoor sporting facility that can be set up for a variety of games. When I was there, there were 12 Volleyball courts on 1 side and a number of futsal courts on the other. Offices and meeting rooms are upstairs and the open passage way that runs the length of the building is a great place for taking video and photos to give an overview of the games.”
“Lovely place. I have taught yoga here for a few years and no plan on leaving anytime soon. The full-time staff here are welcoming and the members are also such a joy to teach. A beautiful and inclusive space to move your body.”
“Beautiful scenery, public toilets that get locked in evening but one open all night. We had a peaceful evening. Restaurant at the carpark. Only one night for freedom campers they do come check.”
“Looking for LOTR locations?, this is your place”
“A large and very scenic park. Great for picnics, a run, dog walkings and walking in the bus”
“The scene is amazing and its such a pleasurable walk or bike ride. If you want to go to the lighthouse just be mindful that its a good 1.5 hour trek but its well worth it. There are no public toilets along the way either so make sure you do your business before you leave.”
“One of the dudes I was hiking with left his phone at the top and only realised once we were about to reach the car lol. Fortunately it was found by a kind soul who gave it back. The hike itself was great and there was a nice picnic area great for enjoying some cheeky snacks. I had some Sichuanese style noodles. There are also great views of the bay from the top area of the hike. Would recommend!”
“Great variety of day hikes in Belmont Regional Park. We went to the Trig. Fantastic panorama.”
“Excellent gardens in spring: rhododendrons daffodil s & blossom trees. Sheltered. Playground, parking all there. Easily reached off SH2. Tennis courts and large playing fields plus River walk picnic tables and BBQ. Sept. 18”
“A very big and fun park for mountain bike riders, walker and dogs. They have heaps different track from easy to advanced. After last night rain road still muddy and wet. Got a tap to drink and wash your bike.”
“Excellent walking trail in Hutt region. We took Fire break. O boy, it was steep one and for sure it test your fitness. When you reach the top, that's the reward "breathtaking" view. Walking down is another challenge. Need a good shoe grip and we need to be careful as it is steep with loose rock.”
“Great walk. Came in off Hine Rd, up to McKerrow, onto Roubd ridge, back through Camp Wainui, up Bruce's track to repeater and back to car. Well marked, easy to navigate.”
“A superb park, well laid out with great planning. The planting attracts birds of all types including the rowdy Tui. Great water features. Plenty of spacious parking and electric car charging posts. Toilets suffer from vandals but usable”
“Such a pleasant place. Not a long walk to the waterfalls. Only 15 min each way.”
“Great venue for exhibitions! Good facilities for organisers, exhibitors, and attendees. I’ve been to many exhibitions at Walter Nash.”
“Lovely spot, made even better if Mr Whippy is there!”
“We took our two mokopuna to Adrenaline Forest today. The eldest has been a couple of times and was confident after his briefing to get started. The younger was less so but certainly gave it his best. They both succeeded and had a great time. My thanks to the staff who supported my mokos in particular but were attentive to all. Clear safety instructions showing exactly how to use the equipment; and just the right encouragement when one of my boys got stuck. A reminder of the basics and gentle but firm guidance from the ground. All the reassurance that was needed and our moko carried on again. No doubt the boys will be back and their koro and I will be happy to accompany them. Ngā mihi ki a koutou...”
“Beautiful beach, good for walking or swimming. Just make sure to check the tide level as sometimes it gets very high”
“Excellent NZMCA member only park. Great stopover before getting the ferry - only 25 minutes.”
“Mind blown by the place and arena. Fantastic services available, good parking. Round about was quite congested when we left. It would help if people knew their road rules.”
“Great place to go to for a swim or a sauna. Well maintained pools and friendly staff. Highly recommended for exercise and to spend some quality time for rest and relaxation. Thank you for doing a great job here.”

“Stunning views. A few bunkers with graffiti on the end of the hills. Can see Cook Strait and red rocks. Spent 2 hours from Brooklyn wind turbine get there by bike. Last 2km only can walk. Very steep and narrow. Better wear long pants. A lot of sharp needle plants may scratch your legs.”
“Nice to walk around in the sun. Good trim. Cricket looks fun, but. I’m afraid.”
