   Very sad to see where so many were washed ashore that night so many years ago. All the documentaries & history books can't show you how far away from Wellington CBD by road it all was. I think it is a must see for all NZers.

   Excellent! Nice little beach with interesting things to find. Well written and engaging info about the Wahine disaster, not too in depth but with lots of pictures. A beautiful place to sit and reflect, or bring the kids for a run around and quick history lesson.
