Tucked away at the furthest, eastern-end of the Petone Esplanade it is less frequented by the general public but ever popular with boatees, jet-skiers, water-skiers, yachting enthusiasts and rowers who utilise it for recreational and maritime-training activities. Nearby workers also visit this beach to enjoy a scenic, lunch break.
