Fortunately the Ents (and Kiwis) have restored the gardens though Isengard and the walls have disappeared with the ages.
Nice park for picnics, bbq, kids playground and biking/cycle Hutt valley trail options. Plenty of parking available.
Fantastic park to walk around in amongst the trees. The play grounds are excellent to fire kids of all ages and in the summer, a paddle pool and splash pad is avaliable to keep everyone Cool.
Such a beautiful park! Crazy to believe that isenguard was filmed here. Went on a weekday and the park was very quiet! I would recommend spending time here it's beautiful and very relaxing
Very nice place. Half an hour drive from The City. The kids loved it. They played in the Mini roads with roundabouts, traffic signs, give-ways. I enjoyed taking photos from the bridge overlooking the river. Highly recommended for a family picnic.
Beautiful park and very peaceful, the workout plaza made me feel like I was training for American Ninja Warrior!
