“Lovely place for date night !! We did the "first table" deal and worked great for us. We tried quite a few items of the menu and had great savings. I would absolutely recommend the fish crudo, the Rib eye and the truffle gnocchi. I know is a meat restaurant, but let me say the gnocchi was one of the best I've had; the onion soubise was espectacular, airy and tasty. In general the sides were ok, Caesar salad was good AND the puré as well, would probably not order the mushrooms again. Desserts were good, specially the tiramisú. Would've appreciated a chocolate option as well... The service by the two french ladies was perfect! Attentive and professional. Would recommend !”

“These folks were so good! I'd been to two other mechanics previously for a service/investigation and they'd do the service, start investigating the issue I'd flagged and then just go, meh, looks like a sensor issue. Pit Stop were the first people to actually look past the surface and try to find the fault. They found it and repaired it in the space of a day for a reasonable price. Yeah my car is old enough to drink in the USA but that doesn't mean its issues are just age-related. Cheers pit stop! You'll be my go-to from now on!”

I was making the drive from Auckland to Dunedin when my car started to show some worry around Wellington. Was able to drive into these guys and have them look and service the car same day. Honest, trustworthy and very affordable.”

“Had a wonderful time here with my little man while in Wellington. Access is free but donations are requested. They had the cardboard town set up so we went in one of the tunnels to play. They also have a reading corner, colouring/art area, and photo booth ($2). Coffee for parents is available for $3. We will go again next time we are in Wellington!”

“Nice and friendly staff! I've been here a few times and I will definitely continue to come here in the future. I'm adding to this review because I was touched again by their super professionalism and friendliness. I went to their place late Friday afternoon urgently because of the alternator issue and told them that I would need to drive to Auckland Saturday. They figured out the issue instantly and tried very hard to source the parts for my car. I was so glad that the car was nicely fixed and I was able to drive to Auckland safely and happily Saturday morning. Thanks again, guys! You are super helpful! :-) I highly recommend their service again!”

“There's not many times I rate places highly, but this is one of those – A fabulous evening for our, sort of, party of five (one was takeout due to illness) Our recent visit was an absolute delight, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. We were a party of five, and the quality of both food and service exceeded expectations. Mains Birria Tacos (2 orders): The beef was exceptionally tender and juicy, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Roasted Pepper Quesadilla: A standout dish with a perfectly crisp exterior, balanced by rich, melted cheese and tender roasted vegetables and fruits. Roasted Cauliflower: Simple yet delicious, this dish was well-seasoned and delicious. Chicken Quesadilla (Takeaway): Our youngest, who was unfortunately unable to join us due to a migraine, thoroughly enjoyed this dish at home. He said it was “really nice”. Sharing Plate Salsas and Dips with Corn Chips: A great starter for the table. The trio of dips was well-received, with the group informally ranking them 1-3 from left to right as presented in the picture. While the green dip was the least favoured, all were enjoyed and complemented the chips well. Desserts Churros (2 orders, 1 takeaway): These were a highlight. Both in-house and takeaway servings were praised for their crisp texture and were perfectly paired with chocolate and caramel sauces. In-House Special Sponge with Ice Cream (2 orders): A refined dessert with soft sponge and delicate flavours that matched beautifully with the ice cream. Overall, the experience was outstanding. The menu offered a limited, but wonderful variety, and each dish was crafted with care. We look forward to returning and highly recommend this restaurant to others.”
