When I stay in Wellington I come to this lovely little cafe, it feels like it's a great part of the community, with the staff taking the time to know their customers. Such a nice vibe. They know everyone by name and make a huge effort. Happy Friday Eve!
Lovely place. Good coffee. I'm a one-off visitor but when I'm in Wellington again, I'll definitely try and visit. While waiting for my coffee, I saw a couple of regulars come in and the staff knows them by name. Always a good sign of a good cafe!
Love this little coffee shop! Conveniently located next to Embassy cinema, and walking distance to busses and the city centre. Itβs a little local haunt for those living in the area. Service is friendly and casual. Food is delicious and they have a nice selection of scones in interesting flavours. Coffee here is also nice. I like its quirky and artsy decor. They sell local artistsβ works hung on their walls for a reasonable price as well as framed poems. The cafe offers indoor and outdoor seating. Free WiFi on site and reading materials- local newspapers. Itβs not a quiet spot as itβs quite a bustling location. Would come back!
Recommended cafe by a friend and did not disappoint... eggs on toast phenomenal.... doesn't sound like much but that sourdough bread was absolutely hitting, tasty, wonderful, delicious, and the eggs were scrambled nicely. Small hot choc also a decent size which was good

Life saver on Kingβs Birthday morning when most other cafes were closed. The beef+bacon sausage roll was lean and filing; as was the bacon+cheese scone. Get some extra tomato sauce for the scone! The coffee is very strong and came out a little too hot.
A great Wellington cafe. I often drop in for a coffee when Iβm down that end of town, and sometimes a bite. The coffee is good and there is a fine selection of cabinet food. Also a blackboard menu with kiwi classics like mince on toast. Check out the photos. Place has a good vibe, supported by local clientele. Sam and her crew are in the groove.
not too serious a vibe. everyone here is going with the flow. the dude with the cool shirt expertly toed the line between professionalism and chillaxedism. i noticed some especially relaxed sexy go with the flow type people outside - 5 stars
GREAT coffee Freshly baked cakes, scones, muffins and slices Update: the chocolate brownie is a m a z i n g The scones and muffins are always full of flavours. Helpful friendly staff Groovy decor and outdoor seating 33 years and still a top cafe in Wgtn!
