The food was some of the most interesting food we had in New Zealand in a good way. The kung-pow cauliflower was really tasty, I really liked the corn chorizo cheese dip and the miso chicken yakitori was very good but a bit salty. The drinks were also very good. I had the Pimm's and hibiscus highball and it was great

Mr Goβs in Wellington is such a cool place to eat. The vibe is relaxed, the staff are super friendly and fun. They serve amazing Asian-fusion dishes that are perfect for sharing, plus a great selection of drinks and beers. The food comes out fast, everything fresh and full of flavor. Lots of seating, good music, and just an awesome atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit β perfect spot for a night out with friends.

Excellent food here at Mr Goβs! We got takeaway for a meeting I was attending, and chose the fried chicken bao, and other sides such as chicken, dumplings, bok choi and fries. These were all excellent, chicken was tender thigh meat, the dumplings had a Sichuan pepper kick, and even the fries were really good and different! The fried tofu was okay but went well with the spicy peanut sauce. I would definitely recommend Mr Goβs for takeaway. I will be returning to try the pork belly bao and other things that peak my fancy!

Came here for the WOAP burger (9/10 really balanced I would come here again just for it) but ended up getting other mains. They were so so good. Really recommend the prawn and cream cheese wontons. Prawn dish is really good with rice. Drinks came out a little too boozy for my liking. But other days I came drinks were fine.

When we arrived into the restaurant it took longer than expected for one of the staff members to greet us and seat us at a table. The service could've been better and more friendly, but the food was amazing and very tasty. We had the kung pau cauliflower, pork belly bao bun, popkorn chicken and pork fried rice. The cocktails were great too and one of them was served in a cute cat jar. The restaurant atmosphere was great and very busy.

The food was surprisingly good and tasty. I enjoyed my lunch and was pleased with their combination of different flavours. We tried veggie fried rice, lamb dumplings, beef bao, and cream cheese wontons. Everything was yummy; I particularly enjoyed the wontons that were super crunchy outside but creamy and tasty inside. I absolutely recommend them. Clean ambience, smiley staff, and good service. Will come back :)

Having heard of Mr Go's from my Wellington based family we decided to pop in on a whim for a family lunch. We were seated promptly and ordered drinks and a selection of dishes to share as we were advised. Everything was stunningly beautiful and gorgeously fresh! We ordered Bao buns, Tamarind Prawns, Pork Dumplings, Green Beans and the infamous KungPao Cauliflower (I Highly Recommend!!) We look forward to returning again soon!

My wife and I popped in for a spot of lunch. We ordered a couple of dishes, and every single one was excellent. Service was great , we weren't left waiting for anything too long. We didn't have any of the drinks , but they did have quite a selection! Highly recommend this place.

We had a delicious meal at Mr. Go's. The food came quite quickly - and on arrival was very tasty. We had a Fish & a Pork Belly bao bun, then, to share, the Tamarind Prawns (tasty - but quite spicy), the Popcorn Chicken (a classic done well) and the Pork Fried Rice (a fantastic opener). The cocktails were also great - some come in unique vessels which is fun, but pick based on taste rather than looks. For dessert we had the Coconut Mess and the Deep-Fried Ice Cream. The Deep-Fried Ice Cream was delicious, but I felt the ice cream could have been a little colder, and the batter a little hotter to really capture what is great about the dessert staple. That said, the honey sauce with which it was prepared was phenomenal, and more than made up for the very minor temperature short-coming. Staff were friendly and helpful, and as I said the food was brought to the table in a timely manner. I would highly recommend eating at Mr. Go's.
