“Dined here for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! My friend and I got a medium big chicken pizza to share and it was so good! The place was very popular and the counter staff were friendly. Only downside to the experience was when I ordered a lemon meringue cheesecake and it was served to me still frozen so I had to have it takeaway, also we ordered garlic bread but they didn’t have any . Would definitely go back for the pizza though!”

“Handy little sushi shop within a larger mall complex. I picked up an end of day assortment for $5. Still fresh and tasty, loved the purple rice. It’s a bit of a lucky dip of fillings. Will be back for more :)”

“A hidden gem in Churton Park! I stopped in at Simmer Café and was seriously impressed. I had a mocha and a cheese scone, and both were outstanding. The mocha was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced — not too sweet, not too bitter. The cheese scone was fresh, warm, and full of flavour — one of the best I’ve had in Wellington. The staff were welcoming and the café had a great local atmosphere — clean, relaxed, and clearly a favourite with regulars. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!”

“I have ordered food from this place, have never visited. But I love their food. I tried their fish curry last time and it took me back to the backwaters of Kerala. I decided to try some other dishes, ordered Mutton Sukka and boy, I was amazed! If you are craving authentic spicy, flavoursome curries, definitely give this a try.”

They been very accommodating for guests who had dietary/allergies, and the staff that night were fantastic for making sure our reception was amazing! “Went to Lulu’s for the first time for our 5 year anniversary and it was nothing short of phenomenal! The drinks were fantastic and the food was presented amazingly , absolutely delish and full of many different flavours that all paired together so well. Safe to say we will absolutely be back! Fantastic value as well, we were surprised with our final bill and would recommend Lulu’s for a perfect date night or group get together!”

“A great restaurant serving delicious food located steps from the Ibis hotel where I was staying. The Mussels were some of the best and the lamb rump was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is very nice as it seems to be an old bank building. Prices were reasonable. It was however very noisy.”
