“Anzac Day in windy Wellington. Went to Mojo Cafe. No 15% surcharge. If you like a strong hot coffee this is your go to place. The Pork and Lamb sausage roll hit the spot. Highly recommend this establishment.”

“You won’t go wrong with Regals if you’re after authentic chinese cuisine or a fantastic spread of yum cha. They have a great variety to choose from their menu and are often packed, so do book in advance. Parking is ample around the streets however one inconvenience is the lack of an elevator, which might not be accessible for the elderly etc. I’ve also added some videos from chinese new year where they often have the lion dance performance which is entertaining for all.”

“We regularly come here with the kids, extended family and friends! We love the outdoor but undercover section. It’s warm even on a cold day! We so appreciate the kids area and try to book a table near it! The staff are always friendly, quick and efficient! We have several food allergies with the kiddos and it’s never been a problem here! Kids love it! The only negative is that there is not a dairy free option for kids dessert eg only soft serve. Would be fabulous to have another option even ice blocks.”

“Noodle Man is one of those places that you need to visit when you're craving some hot soup and great noodles. I have been going to Noodle Man consistently for the past several years, even before I moved to Wellington and what a joy this place is. Everything on their menu is under $25 which is a rare find in a city that is full of overpriced dishes with less than desired flavours. Their Beef Noodle Soup is such an exceptional dish that you'd be hard pressed to find a better bowl in Wellington. The beef is so tender that it falls apart when you try to pick it up with your chopsticks. The broth is rich, deep and full of warm spices that leave you feeling comforted after just one sip. If I could eat one type of noodle dish for the rest of my life, it would very well be Noodle Man's Beef Noodle Soup. Their rice dishes are also such great value and they really heap on the amount of meat and veges. Please support this lovely business. Capital Market is definitely not what it used to be but it deserves all the love nonetheless.”

“I like this place. I like it a lot. I didn’t actually eat in but I got the garlic butter cream they sell there and I’ve been using it in my cooking and wow it is so good. “The best place for big group dinners. Went on a Saturday night and the place was packed-had a great energy. The staff are very professional. They write down you name & order to ensure everyone gets the right thing. Food was alright- felt like the miso soup and the sauce on the grilled fish was overly sweet. But liked the crunchy prawn dumplings. Will definitely be back for future group celebrations”
