You guys have an amazing barista! Never disappoints when she is on duty - best latte I've found in all of Wellington.

The service, food and coffee were all good. The disappointing thing was the cleanliness of the tables. Our table and the others nearby that were empty had not been wiped down. It was sticky to touch. When I asked the first girl to come and wipe it clean, she did a poor job still leaving a few crumbs and still sticky. I had to ask the man who brought over our order to please come back and wipe again. It is important to keep a high level of hygiene in eating establishments. There is nothing more off putting to feel your arms sticking to the table when you are about to eat. Hope this is enough to raise their standard.

One of my favorite places! Bagels here are very tasty, crunchy and fresh. I also love shakshouka and smoothies!

Enjoyed their burger on the lunch menu and I've since tried more of their cabinet food (cookie, apple pie, almond croissant, coffee cheesecake). Perhaps it's just my personal preference but I found the coffee cheesecake a tad underpowered - texture was perfect though. The apple crumble lacked a punch too, perhaps lacking on sugar / lemon juice / cinnamon and the cookie had a great texture but again lacked a punch in the sweetness department. The almond croissant was definitely overcooked and was tough to cut with a knife... but tasted nice (3.5/5). Overall the burger was 4.5/5 (will definitely buy again) and the cabinet food is around 3 - 3.5/5. If you don't like sweet stuff or strong coffee or soft golden croissant then you'd probably enjoy the cabinet choices more than myself! Bumped overall to 4/5 as we desperately need more places like this in Whitby, otherwise it's dominoes pizza or new world for brunch....eek

Good coffee, nice brunch menu. The fries were very good. The staff were very helpful. Couldn't give it 5 stars as one of my eggs was slightly underdone. Runny yolk great, but not runny white.

Lovely cafe with great food. I have been there every Friday for the last 3 weeks and had a different meal each time which is great as I only eat vegetarian. Only downside and the reason I didn't give a 5 was for the first two weeks one person ruined the whole experience, she was incredibly grumpy, did not speak to us and just roughly plonked our food and drinks on the table. Today she was not there and the place deserved a 5.

I had the pancakes with banana and bacon. The serving was very generous, so much so that my husband had to finish my meal. He had poached eggs with bacon and we both had a trim flat while. Service very efficient. Due to it raining the cafe was full with people having to be turned away, one of the few cafes in Whitby.

Great cafe in the heart of Whitby, the staff are friendly, and helpful, especially the chap on the coffee machine! The food is spot on, whether it be from the cabinet, or the freshly prepared food from the kitchen. It gets very busy during lunch and mid-morning which reinforces they're doing a great job. Keep up the good work team!
