   Really nice pizzas , I've usually always ordered a meat pizza, but the 5 Boroughs has changed my mind, base is amazing, black garlic, ricotta and pesto are 3 of my favorite things lol. Great service and footyon the TV's win win. Thanks for sorting out the basil Weston #legend

   As an American from Chicago, I approve of this pizza. I'm not going to lie and tell you it's as good a proper New York slice but it's pretty close. And for New Zealand pizza standards, it's some of the best you'll find. My only suggestion is, heat up the sauce that comes with the motzerella sticks.

   Placed an online order for half a pepperoni pizza, was not disappointed. The pizza base was fantastic and the New York style was a nice touch. Will definitely be ordering from Sal’s when visiting Wellington again.

   We asked specifically for extra sauce with the wings and they LITERALLY did the exact OPPOSITE! There’s no sauce on these wings at all! None! Absolutely ZERO! They’re dry fried wings, yes I asked for double fried but I ALSO asked for EXTRA sauce! This is an ongoing issue with the Newtown store! If you have the means I highly recommend going to the Cuba St one or Lambton Quay one and not this one if you want to get what you order! Or if you don’t then at least check what you got before leaving and arriving home to an utter disappointment!

   Update: they have since worked on this issue and lately I have had no problems. The pizza is amazing, mozzarella sticks and pepperoni wheel rock! I love Sal’s Pizza. But this location sucks. They never ever ever have my order ready for pick up. They say 45 mins and they literally always forget and item. Usually the wings. And they take 25 mins to make. So the pizza gets cold and I waste my time. Great pizza but staff needs to up their game. Update. Sent reply to email. No reply from them yet

   I ordered few garlic knots and mozzarella sticks with a buffalo sauce. And Insted recieved a marinara sauce. Its soo not satisfying to eat the sides without your coice of sauce. Dissapointed ⭐️⭐️❌❌❌
