Best Chinese restaurant in Wellington. The service is amazing, the portions are generous and the flavours are on point. Highly recommend their roast duck - super crispy and juicy. Appreciate the free sweet treats for dessert too.
Make the booking beforehand. The seating is pretty crowded, so it's not friendly for a wheelchair and baby prams. And I would not like the tables close to the entrance; as the waiting queue is next to you. The food is all yummy and excellent variety.
Everything was splendid. Well cooked. The staff were all great. The steamed fish was so fresh and taste was great. Didn't have small change for tip when paying :( hope this compensates
Majestic Cuisine is hands down the best spot for Chinese food in Wellington! It’s become our go-to place for Chinese food. Every dish we’ve tried is bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. It’s always a pleasure dining here, and we can’t recommend it enough to anyone seeking top-tier Chinese food in Wellington!
Always excellent food and service here. Staff speak plenty of languages (+ english) to communicate effectively with all customers. Slightly pricey but the food and service makes it worth it. Recommend especially for their lunch yum cha.
Amazingly generous servings. 3 men ordered 3 mains, and could not finish them. A doggy bag happily supplied. Also, I ordered a glass of wine and it was a generous pour. We recommend the Fish fillet with Spring Onion and soy sauce....so tasty and tender.
Authentic taste of southern Chinese food, very friendly service, reasonable prices, big portion of food, absolutely delicious. Offer free soup before meal and fruits after meal, overall recommended!
Had lunch at Majestic 7th June, highly recommended to book. Yumcha mainly at lunch time service but I like to be different & ordered off main menu that I'd already browsed online & knew what I wanted. Very Authentic decorations & atmosphere, really does feel that you're genuinely at a restaurant in Asia. Staff are extremely busy at service, so don't be offended if they're in a hurry as this also adds vibrancy to the very much authentic experience. We ordered Chive & prawn dumpling Prawn & pork dumpling Half roast duck Steamed pork belly with preserved vegetables Egg plant & pork mince. Are here in Wellington 4 nights & are planning on going back again & again Also went back for dinner service 2 nights later & had the Peking duck, worth every dollar, superb
Been coming here frequently over the last 2 years. The food is always tasty, the atmosphere is nice and it is kid friendly. Service is attentive and courteous. The Yumcha dishes are decently priced and portioned well.
