“Fantastic location and things to do! Heated pool, park, trampoline, giant chess board and a big screen and bean bags. Our room was great! Comfy bed, kitchenette had everything we needed and the fridge freezer was a nice size for the 3 nights stay. Awesome view of the Moana from our sea side room. From what I can see the other rooms look just as good. We stayed for the Mana Kuratahi kapa haka 2025. Our kids also loved it. Would definitely return and recommend to whanau and friends.”

I enquired inside where the closest service station was. However, without hesitation, and kindness, Damo offered his assistance to change the tyre when he had closed up the store. I felt truly grateful for the willingness of your staff member, Damo, who readily assisted to help us in this situation. His exceptional customer service skills and ability to connect with people set a new standard. I mentioned I wanted to learn to change a tyre and my daughters also. Damo had the patience of a saint and taught us. He earned legendary status as a truly selfless individual. Needless to say, we arrived home without incident. We are very appreciative. Service was exceptional, you can tell when someone actually cares about their patrons. It showed in the number of people inside the business. It was a rainy Sunday evening and the resteraunt was at capacity! There was live music and good vibes in abundance. Despite being busy the proprietor checked on us multiple times, and once the live band had finished and a few people had left a table cleared inside which he offered to us for a more pleasant experience. “Services are great! I use the school runs that Uzabus provide most days (After school obviously) and the drivers are very nice people, and the vibe is generally pretty chill, for the most part. I've also gotta tip my hat to the people who maintain the buses, because I've seen multiple buses in Uzabus' fleet that are very old, have over 1M km's on the odometer (I know of one with about 2.5M km on the odometer), or are one of a kind in the country. Good people, and probably very good mechanics.”
