The staff provided excellent service, and the campgrounds, beach, and nearby shops offered enjoyable activities. The villa was impressive, accommodating eight adults across four rooms with two toilets and two showers, resulting in a high level of satisfaction.
I stayed in one of the motel rooms and it was absolutely perfect for what I needed for a long weekend away. Very clean and tidy, and felt new and fresh. You can hear the waves, and it’s only a few steps from food options (Pap House was a highlight we went to a few times!), and a very quick drive to shops and other supplies (Henry & Ted about 2 mins drive away was also a highlight!). The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Location is perfect with beach access just across the road. Thank you so much to Gilly and the team for being so welcoming and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back!
Everything was perfect for a big family like ours. We had a total of about 40 people (adults and children) check in for our sisters wedding in Tauranga. We were so grateful to have found a place that catered to our big family. We were able to play, laugh, pray and get our sister ready for her big day TOGETHER.
We had a fantastic stay at Pacific Park. The family cabin was large and clean and the facilities excellent! The shared bathrooms are the best I've found for a campground and we enjoyed the huge spa. The inflatable pillow was a hit with the kids and the pickleball court fun for us all.
A Wonderful Experience at Pacific Park Christian Holiday Camp We had an absolutely fantastic time at Pacific Park Christian Holiday Camp. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was both comfortable and enjoyable. Their genuine hospitality and attentive service truly stood out and made a lasting impression. The facilities were excellent—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to cater to all ages. Whether it was the spacious cabins, the peaceful surroundings, or the great recreational areas, everything contributed to a relaxing and uplifting environment. It’s clear that a great deal of care and prayer goes into making the camp a place of rest, connection, and fun. We highly recommend Pacific Park to anyone looking for a welcoming, family-friendly, and faith-filled getaway.
We stayed in the 2 bed motel rooms for a few nights in. I can't fault it. Staff were friendly. It was clean and tidy with everything 3 adults and a 3 yr old needed. Great selection of complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, even supplied little pods of milk. Microwave is a combo grill/ oven /microwave machine..but once you figured it out it was easy. Cafe, dairy, takeaways and beach all within easy walking distance too. If travelling with toddlers: The wooden stairs are fairly steep, so I feel like its a bit obvious to say make sure you watch you toddler climbing up and down them.. but worth a note. Playground is a little walk away over by the campsites, not within viewing distance of the unit. The bathroom is very spacious and the shower had impressive water pressure! (like a water blaster if you are not used to it) Soap and shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer were supplied. The laundry room was next to our unit- but we didn't hear anything (though we were out all day and just back to sleep). There were also washing lines at the back of the unit you could use and pegs supplied. The units are near to the road/ path other campers had to use to get to the rest of the campsite, but again no obvious noise. House keeping were prompt and lovely ladies too. There was a housekeeping form you filled in and you could ask for new towels everyday if you wanted , or let them know if you needed more complimentary things like soap etc. They don't make beds, but that was totally fine. Hot pool: We made a special effort to visit the hot water pool onsite one night too (open 5pm-9pm). Nothing fancy, just a small outdoor pool filled with lovely hot water. Was about 730pm.. just us in there , and the night was clear and not too crisp.. so was nice. (toddler liked the coloured lights in the pool, but was also had glowsticks for her, to make her night swim a bit more special) As I said I can't fault this place. And every staff member I talked to were polite and helpful. I should note - It is dry accom ( so no alcohol etc allowed on site), but not a problem for us, and there is a pub/bar not too far away if you do need a nightcap! I thought it was a really affordable accomodation option for the 4 of us. Overall would stay again, and would recommend. Thank you for the easy stay!
My children and I absolutely loved this place. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, which was immaculately clean and well equipped. The staff were so helpful and the imenities were excellent. I would definitely stay here again!
We had an amazing few days at the Pacific Christian Camp. The hosts are so polite and extremely welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Papamoa. Top marks for the facilities and for the hosts. Thanks again for your hospitality and God bless
We stayed at Pacific Park Christian Holiday Camp in late April and really enjoyed it. We chose a motel cabin and were very pleased with the quality of this place and how well equipped it was. It really has everything you may need to really feel like home. Kids liked the jumping pillow and the heated pool. We highly recommend this beautiful camp for a family stay.
We loved our stay! What a beautiful place, cabins, communal kitchen, toilets, laundry were all modern and kept immaculate. The grounds were maintained to the highest standard, hot pool was perfect! Kids loved the games room, playground and jump pillow. Walking distance to the beach and local shops. Staff were great with our late check in and super friendly! Highly recommend!
