“A regular client of Excelsa Pharmacy for the past three years, it is time for me to leave a positive review, on the back of some of the negative commentaries I have read. I can vouch that the personnel at Excelsa Papamoa Sands is great at 95% - yes, you may encounter that one staff member who is not as engaging and friendly as the others, but rather than focussing on ‘Misery’, I prefer to focus on the rest of the team who are absolutely awesome. The Pharmacists are always busy and deliver a service that is accurate, rapid, and professional. They will also step from behind the dispensary to come and talk with a client and/or assist the front desk when they are busy. Then we have the front counter/retail team, and in that team are some exceptional people - unfortunately I cannot remember all their names, however, one person stands out in my book and I would try and get served by her every time I go there. Her name is Tayla. Tayla is always smiling, friendly, very professional and will go out of her way to assist you and find exactly what you are looking for. Tayla is an asset to this business and she has a great future within the industry. So if you do go to Excelsa Pharmacy, keep an eye out for her. Finally, you, as a client/patient, remember you’ll get out what you put in, in other words, if you are grumpy, not smiling, rude, and generally not a nice person, don’t expect the members of the staff to be pleasant back. Sure they will try, but it is up to you, the client, to also be pleasant, and if they’re not greeting you the moment you walk in, realise that they may be busy and even though you are important, the world is not peripheral to your belly button, so, smile, be patient, and see the impact it has on others.”

“We experienced a flat tyre on our way back to Rotorua, but fortunately, I had exited the expressway before the situation worsened, and by chance, I luckily found myself in front of the Super Liquor Sandhurst store at 8:50 pm on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024. I enquired inside where the closest service station was. However, without hesitation, and kindness, Damo offered his assistance to change the tyre when he had closed up the store. I felt truly grateful for the willingness of your staff member, Damo, who readily assisted to help us in this situation. His exceptional customer service skills and ability to connect with people set a new standard. I mentioned I wanted to learn to change a tyre and my daughters also. Damo had the patience of a saint and taught us. He earned legendary status as a truly selfless individual. Needless to say, we arrived home without incident. We are very appreciative. For outstanding customer service, look no further than Super Liquor Sandhurst. I highly recommend top-notch staff and service.”

“I was served by a young gentleman. Sadly I couldn't see a name badge. He was patient, helpful and courteous. I realised that my purchase was too big and heavy so requested that this be held as I had other groceries to buy and would come back with a trolley to collect the meat. This was no trouble. When back he was kind enough to load the trolley and hold the door open for me. A rare site nowadays. There's a great selection of fresh meat and great prices. I actually found preservative free sausages today. Thank you Doug!”
