   Ordered from here while on a boys golf trip to the area. The order for 16 men was complete and ready for us to pick up at the arranged time. All the guys agreed that the food was delicious and spiced as required. Generous portions allowed for breakfast and some lunch the next day. I even received a phone call to enquire on how the food was. Great service!

   Great Spice is the perfect place to have a large group for a special celebration dinner. We had a group of close to 30 people for my husband's 60th birthday. The staff made planning incredibly easy and the food was soooooo good, large portions and delivered in good time. They really worked to keep everyone happy and even let us drop off the cake early so that everything would be in order for the big event. Atmosphere was perfect and we all had a wonderful time. This is the best Indian food in the area too so for any size dinner group make sure you come here!!

   Thankyou for another lovely experience at your restaurant. Friendly and welcoming waiter. Only one niggle is that for our party of 9 the round table which is so good was too large for us to chat freely. Minor niggle as we all had a happy time and will most certainly be back.

   Did not disappoint. First time having Butter Chicken in BOP. Exceeded expectations, as we had most excellent Indian Restaurant in Wellington. Good serving size, lots of tandoor chicken. Very flavorful and rice was as you would expect, just right. Online ordering was so easy, and our order was ready and hot. We will definitely call Great Spice Papamoa East our local. Great experience.

   We were traveling from Gisborne and decided to take a meal break at Great Spice Papamoa. We ordered chicken kalimirch kebabs, lolly pop and honey chilly chicken. Everything tasted really nice and fresh. The host was very welcoming and excellent at recommending options. Overall it was a quality experience and I'll surely return and strongly recommend this place if you are looking for quality Indian food in Tauranga/Papamoa

   We used to love this place, would go there often for takeaways. We decided to take our parents out for dinner but waited for 1.5 hours for onion baji and TWO hours with no main course. We left with NO food. People who had come in 30 mins after us were getting served. This is not good enough. I will not be returning to them again. Disappointed as we were long term customers. Do not recommend on a busy night!!!!

   The food is divine!! one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to in all of Tauranga!! I’m yet to find any other restaurant that can match this quality of Food!!! The staff are so friendly and attentive!!! The atmosphere takes you away to another place with soothing sounds to add to the dining experience!!! I Would 100% recommend anyone looking for top quality Indian Food to try Great spice in Papamoa!!! They call it Great spice, but for me…….I call it “Greatest spice” because the chefs provide just the right amount of heat to their dishes when you order it “Kiwi Hot.” At other Restaurants that I’ve ordered “Kiwi Hot” in the past, I tends to always end up with me eating molten Lava and I can’t even attempt to finish my meal. But at Great spice Papamoa they add “JUST” the right amount of heat to the dish to give it that little kick to heighten the senses but not punish the taste buds. Just thinking about Great Spice in Papamoa makes me hungry…….
